Add this to the speculative pile, but it seems to me we go through a door at some point in the ride through a scene. There's not a lot of reason for the track to leave the main warehouse mid-ride otherwise I can think of.

But you are supposed to be riding on the doors, so it wouldn't make sense for a door to go through a door.

Muppets is the funniest, cleverest attraction in all of WDW and it isn’t close. WDW has been losing wit at a decisive rate ever since the EPCOT classics closed decades ago, and frankly there’s very little left at the resort.

I think MILF is close, even similar in tone. Another threatened attraction. I strongly agree that the loss of wit in the parks is an unacknowledged part of what's missing compared to the past. Possibly the young imagineers are just A students who google every answer without thinking, looking for the answer the professor is expecting.

A park that's solely D and E ticket attractions with nothing else would be miserable.

But it's what happens when you have a company that doesn't understand why A-C ticket attractions exist and can no longer build them within a budget. Their solution is to monetize that misery, instead of actually fixing it.

If folks want to embrace coasters-in-a-box with a poorly integrated IP slapped on the front, fine. But don’t pretend something isn’t being lost when you systematically rip out every little bit of non-toddler-humor and intelligence from the park.

Marc Davis lamented the fact that there was nothing funny in Disneyland prior to his involvement with the park, and strongly disliked the pivot towards roller coasters when he retired from WED in the 70s.

He would be especially appalled with the current state of Disney theme parks. Like many who made what they were.

So many possibilities: a scene from a classic Disney movie, imagineering office, Disneyland, another Disney ride like Pirates, etc.

Not sure it makes logical sense but it seems more fun than riding around a big warehouse.

I forget who it was on this forum I think they said it originally and I had a similar idea that at one point we will go to a snowy mountain area and see the abominable snowman from the movie

I can confidently say it’s going to DHS. Bob ruled out Disney Springs last week.

I'm so glad that someone finally mentioned this because it's without a doubt the main thing I hope makes the final product.

There is a portion where it does look like we go through a door and back which could make for a great gag and a jarring change of scenery... "Welcome to they Himalayas!" or something similar.

Does everyone realize that the Peter Pan ride is the only ride with the ceiling system. It would seem like a perfect fit for a door ride, but I am only a big Disney fan so what do I know.

Horizons was sort of but also 20k at Disney Sea. also I think Uni perfected the benefits snd rs ge with Kongfrontation, and the still operating ET Adventure and Kuka arm ride vehicles that can give the same or enhanced experience.

Hoping Monsters at EPIC really utilizes it too.
