DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I'm hopeful Encanto is the next home-run by Disney. It'll be nice to see something of that scale skewing much more family/younger when our recent large expansions have been Tron, Guardians, Galaxy's Edge, and Pandora. And Monsters, Indy, and Villains will tend more "big kid." Even Slinky Dog Dash can be intimidating for little ones. MMRR (and I guess Ratatouille) are the only large-scale family/young skewing rides in the resort in a long while, possibly since New Fantasyland, or generously Frozen (although it still gatekeeps with a drop, just like Tiana's). Exciting prospects, and even though I'm bitter about the location of Cars, that should also help satisfy a younger crowd.

>make land utilizing the region that has the Amazon Rainforest, home to one of the diversity hotspots in nature
>No animals

i still think we'll see Capybaras eventually but I'm disappointed animal-wise if these are close to final/final plans.
No animals in Disney's Animal Kingdom featured in the land that in real life contains the most bio diversity on the planet.

Gee, it's almost like this was greenlit purely to shoehorn two unfitting IPs into this park and not to make a great new addition to Animal Kingdom that actually fit the park.

I'm just as annoyed by this as you are, mind you.

It's almost as if this land wasn't originally designed with the sizable trail space some of the other lands have. 🤔

I mean, it's disappointing, but they're reusing most of the infrastructure, and there wasn't much there for the animals. I'd prefer preserving the attraction count with the play area in this instance. The one habitat that was in Dinoland was a nothingburger.

Something something blessing of space something Walt quote here something I want to see anacondas and Capybaras.

I think down the road I wouldn't be shocked if they added small-medium sized animal enclosures.

They should build an Australia land, move the Nemo show there, and put an animal trail where Nemo currently is.

Never gonna happen though

An Amazon Rainforest River Safari would be amazing though tbh.
You think the reason why they're not gonna do any animals is because it'd be too expensive? Or because they don't want the guys who went after SeaWorld to get on their cases?
They probably have data that new rides will increase attendance more.
