Does this mean Zootopia or Simpsons? Simpsons has no place in a Disney park. Period. Full stop.

Not sure anyone else heard of a show also included along with the coaster.
They said it was a land. Are they counting the playground? It truly needs more than just the rollercoaster. It needs something for all ages.Is Monsters only the coaster? I swore they mentioned multiple attractions at D23....
I would think the hallway that leads to the waiting area could just come straight out to the street instead of turning and out to the courtyard. It’s been some time since I’ve been in the MV3D theater - is it possible to easily have the entrance on Grand Avenue itself?
Looking at the layout of the land and the fairly compact footprint of the ride, it doesn’t seem like they need to take over the actual theater
Otherwise what will Grand Avenue be? Just a street with the taphouse?
"currently"....Is Monsters only the coaster? I swore they mentioned multiple attractions at D23....
Also the civil war thing was a figure of speech LOL. There's probably not any actual suits fighting each other over location currently.

As Disney Tips Shuttering Muppet*Vision 3D, Fans Decry 'Devastating' Move | Exclusive
Muppet*Vision 3D, the Jim Henson-directed attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios, is on the chopping block and we have exclusive details.www.thewrap.com
"...Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a park that had started as a place where you would go behind the scenes of film and television production and has, with the addition of “Star Wars”- and “Toy Story”-themed lands, become the Disney theme park equivalent of the drawer at home where you shove all the stuff you don’t have a place for."

I'm no insider, I just really dislike both of those franchises and think Disney can and should do way better than that.Does this mean Zootopia or Simpsons? Simpsons has no place in a Disney park. Period. Full stop.
Hello everyone! I’m new to the forums, so bear with me
My biggest hope if Monsters is replaced Grand Ave is that Disney heard all of the backlash about MuppetVision closing down and just move it where Lighting McQueen is at and put the film on Disney+
But hey, Disney has disappointed me before
I’ve heard that they wouldn’t need to touch Mermaid right away and would leave it running for around a year or so after starting construction if they go with AC.Realistically, I can’t see Mermaid leaving yet, so in AC, it would feel more like a ride than a land. And they would keep that dead end in the park. At this point, I’d rather they wait until they have a concept large enough to justify clearing out everything back there to connect to Sunset Blvd. And they apparently do have such a concept.

To be fair, they have been recently showing versions of the film without Vader. For a while, they had replaced Vader with Kylo Ren, and currently (at least within the past 6 months), they just had a probe droid instead of either. So i'm not entirely sure how sacred even Vader is. They could also just create a scenario for the Falcon ride that contains Vader if they wanted. While that land is set in the sequel era, i'm not sure they care all that much about timeline continuity, since again they've been running Star Tour with multiple random eras spread across several generations (sometime even within the same film).Once again, they're not replacing the only ride that has Darth Vader, arguably one of the, if not the most iconic villain in cinema, at the Star Wars park.

Lending more credence to the theory that they had no idea the Cars mini-land would get a negative reaction. This article really es me off. WDI purposefully omitted the closing at D23 because they knew it would get a negative reaction on stage. Cowards.
I'm at this stage as well. It's so difficult to know what's going to happen until Disney officially says something. Insiders with great sources are saying Grand Avenue while other insiders with great sources are saying Animation. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but I know my preference.
Once again, they're not replacing the only ride that has Darth Vader, arguably one of the, if not the most iconic villain in cinema, at the Star Wars park.
I've been hearing only conflicting information about the location since yesterday morning. It's a civil war behind the scenes, I'm advising everyone to stock up on canned foods and shotguns.
Just for you kids at home in the cheap seatsThey spent $1 billion dollars on a Star Wars land that specifically didn’t have Darth Vader in the Star Wars park. They also got rid of the Darth Vader meet and greet. One small bit in Star Tours that isn’t even seen by every rider isn’t enough to save it.
