Pretty sure he means the plan that was made back in the day at Disneyland to put Muppet•Vision 3D where Great Moments with Lincoln was. So imagine them simply plopping the pre-existing show into Hall of Presidents and maybe theming Liberty Square to a Muppets themed land. Ultimately regarding the Muppets going into Main Street Opera House, They ended up getting pushback and eventually it got brought to DCA instead. Truth be told though, to add more return investment on DL. Bringing Muppet•Vision back to DCA would be incredibly simple IMO & a net positive to those that’d miss at DHS. Heck, if you wanted to, Could even have it rotate between the current Mickey’s Philharmagic if you wanted to you could even bring a version of The Great Muppet Movie Ride to DCA in that same area where the current Monsters Inc. darkride is now... but yeah.
Ya know, actually, the smart thing to do.. if they really wanted to regarding that.. if you still wanted WDW presence. You could always do the same thing at WDW in Fantasyland by changing the name to Fantasyland Theatre and showing both Muppet•Vision & Mickey’s Philharmagic ‘there’ aswell.

with all the division in what some people are hearing, there is some division. Idk, things might change.
Not with the timescale of this project. We will know everything soon and then they’ll build it and close something or somethings whether we like it or not.

‘And’ if you wanted to retain the Hall of Presidents while also bringing back Great Moments in History with the Muppets. Why not move Great Moments in History w the Muppets over to where EPCOT’s American gardens that bands and such perform at during F&W over there. They already have the Muppets themed Regal Eagle restaurant over there. Makes the most sense and wouldn’t cost much to simply redo part of the stage to accommodate the performers.

It’s not execs in that building, that’s what Team Disney is for. This building is full of office and technical departments, some specific for DHS and some that are global. Most could probably be moved to one of the buildings in Celebration, but this is a very active and functioning office complex.
I never mentioned TDO ... some in those global roles are senior and general managers though.

Disney must like the footprints of their parks as-is in Orlando. Any pure expansion adds infrastructure to maintain and more cast to run, thus cutting into the bottom line. There’s really no other explanation as to why they have all that acreage but never seem to give us much of an expansion.

I don’t understand why we’re talking like removing Muppets is an automatic issue regarding capacity. The way I see it, the coaster expands into the parking lot and a second attraction goes into the Muppet theater. Replace Mama Melrose with Harryhausen’s. Pizza Rizzo becomes a QS Monsters location. Christmas Store reopens as a Monsters shop. You have a net gain of at least one attraction.

There's no indication they have plans to build a second attraction, though, and the coaster will cause capacity problems compared to the Muppet show -- it will attract more guests to the park, but it will also only cater to a specific subset of all guests. That's not to say everyone was interested in the Muppet show, because they clearly weren't, but anyone could decide to do it if other lines were too long etc., and that's not the case with a coaster.
