It’s confirmation they have definitely thought about the idea a lot. We probably are reading too much into it but I really hope this land comes to be it’s such a great idea.

It seems like a lot of the stuff on the Disney Destiny is similar to rumors we've been hearing about Walt Disney World for a while. Maybe all the insiders are getting Walt Disney World and the Disney Destiny confused lol

Agreed, it could be a favorable nod towards Villiansland. If they feel comfortable enough to devote half of a cruise ship to Villians, why wouldn't they capitalize on that by offering a land & sea option? Synergy!

I’m kinda sick of all this DCL investment. I get it lots of capital is brought in thanks to it. The parks are the bread and butter in my opinion and deserve better.

The only good thing about DCL to me is that Tokyo is finally getting one. Never really got the cruise appeal personally, I guess some of the theme lounges seem cool but I'm not looking to spend countless hours in one.

You won't. They are more for having a cocktail after dinner while you wind-down from a fun day. Or, they offer day-time events for days-at-sea.

The fact they're announcing new things for Cruises and Downtown Disney which would be saved for the D23 panel last few years gives me some hope of new and meaningful announcements. That more just random dance numbers we don't want.

People may not be in love with the newer wish class but as a die hard theme park guy, DCL is a better product for us and will move to do more cruise trips

Another factor I think we are overlooking is the economy. It’s definitely slowing down and I wouldn’t be surprised if that leads to projects getting cut.

The cruise industry overall is beyond booming. Not rocket science to get more investment in that.

I enjoy cruising, but did not expect this kind of cruise industry rebound after the pandemic. I thought people would be more cautious on what some call "a floating petri dish."
