EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

So, what's the over/under on the "design your vehicle" aspect returning? If anything, I'd love to see it removed (or pushed completely to MDE) just to give more interior queue space and the option for a more interesting interior queue...

I hope that the design portion doesn’t return. It became my least favorite portion of the ride with the whole bottleneck once you left the design room. I would almost rather have the space become switchbacks.

We did have fun designing cars and came up with some crazy designs over the years. I will not miss it, though.

Yeah it was fun the first few times but it definitely overstayed its welcome.

I know it's not THE WoM font but, DAMN that looks similar.

They are using 'temporarily' pretty fast and loose.

Unfortunately, it isn't the new EPCOT font. Which is a missed opportunity. I liked the uniformity of the attraction marquees from days past.

Now's the (perfect) time to take GOTG off the virtual queue.

Most guests (including me) would just ride Test Track (single rider no wait!) nearby while waiting for our BG to be called. But now that isn't an option anymore..

Was TT holding crowds that well? Yesterday, which was a Sunday, had Soarin' at only 20 for most of the day and Figment around 10.

Shocked to see how many people weren't really rocking with the create a car thing. I really loved that part and it makes me sad that it might be going away

The create a car thing was also a pretty solid revenue source. I worked the TT shop during my CP and we would always have a fairly steady stream of guests purchasing the cards.

Over in the DAS thread, Len just posted that Sunday is the slowest day and Monday is the 2nd highest day - on average - in the month of June. I think those numbers were specific to MK but probably work for all the resort to an extent.

I mean, it doesn’t help that Spaceship Earth has been down all morning, the entire Land pavilion has been closed for a bit for some reason, and it’s an extended evening hours day.

That was always my "cheat" to use, especially if the line was long and wanted to do single rider
