No one was going to pay $15 a person to ride Splash either, so ...At least the mystery is solved why it’s going to G+ instead of ILL.
No one was going to pay $15 a person to ride this.
Special spice is very catchy, but the backing track sounds earily like another legendary dark ride one state north to my ear…
As Disney fans if we keep relentlessly defending mediocre it’s all we are going to get.No one was going to pay $15 a person to ride Splash either, so ...![]()
This is a ride that absolutely will not hit if it’s running in B mode. Even if all of the Splash AAs were busted (still more movement than the new critters) you had the beautiful cartoony sets to marvel at. Now it’s just dark voids…kinda like Dinosaur.Well enjoy it at its prime. (Before it starts falling apart) We’re stuck with this mediocre replacement for at least the next 20 years.
Interesting they chose to record it at night. Outdoor scenes are probably not great in daylight. To me it just rings kind of hollow. There’s no suspense or excitement. Storyline is weak. Visually stunning, great animatronics, and very pretty at night or dusk. But otherwise, for all the hype, this needed to be amazing. And it’s not unfortunately.
I stopped being angry a year ago. Laughed throughout the entire POVAt least your holding back the anger better than I am.
Same with Splash. No one is ever paying $15 extra for an old flume ride no matter its skin.At least the mystery is solved why it’s going to G+ instead of ILL.

Even when it was falling apart for the last few months Splash still told its story well. I can't say I expect this to be able to do so in that shapeWell enjoy it at its prime. (Before it starts falling apart) We’re stuck with this mediocre replacement for at least the next 20 years.
Disney has released a full Tiana’s Bayou Adventure POV video:
What makes you think they cut that which added more coherence or liveliness in this edit? Also - and again, I agree with those who feel like this could be due to the video's edits - but it sure feels less lively at points compared to Splash.
By the time you get to the laughing place you are so bored you are no longer paying attention.I am 100% behind the decision to move away from any major attraction being based on Song of the South, and The Princess and the Frog could have made a great ride, but this ain’t it.
The story is so boring, it’s like we’re just following Tiana on a random day in her life. Whenever I hear an attraction is “set x months after the events” of the story/songs we know and love, it always makes me worry.
