I really hope the claim that they're gonna put another Toy Story ride in Frontierland is false. If they want to build a Woody ride, put it in Toy Story Land.

As far as Cars Land goes, I'm not a huge fan of the idea of single-IP lands in the Magic Kingdom, it just feels weird to me, but I'd like to see Cars Land in Hollywood Studios. If not Radiator Springs Racers, I'd settle for a fun dark ride (not a trackless one, though, please).

Until actually details are revealed, all I ask is that they put some actual scenery on the railroad. Trains do fit with the desert theme, so no plain tunnel this time! Railfans WANT SCENERY! It can work, so MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Monsters would be an incredible land I would definitely support that. Bonus points if it goes in DHS. The monsters films are excellent.

Suppose the Cars rumor is true. If that was to happen, would anything need to be done to BTM to make both attractions meld together better from am aesthetics standpoint?

If they are taking disparate IPs and placing them together in a new land, I assume that the approach will be similar to the other original lands in MK. In Tomorrowland we have Tron, Buzz, Monsters Inc with some classic anchor attractions. This is what makes me wonder if the same approach will happen here. Cars, Toy Story, the classic BTM and maybe another train station location is added. There would have to be merchandise and food -kiosks, QS and TS. It won’t literally just be 3 attractions with nothing else, if that is what is even happening.

I still think it's weird to have two Test Track style rides at WDW, especially if there is an outdoor portion. The only way I see them adding RSR to WDW is if the entire thing is indoors. And it is a terrible fit for MK. "Desert Land" sounds really dumb, but unfortunately this seems to track perfectly with what my source told me a few months ago.

The Route 66 in Cars is nowhere near Hollywood. Why’s that better suited for DHS, just because the road connected Chicago and LA?

I just think you could potentially successfully theme a transitional area to Santa Monica Boulevard or something and have road signs to Route 66 as a fun bit of connection. Certainly better than putting race cars behind Big Thunder, IMO.

Time period wise, it makes no sense in the park. Granted, they seem to not really care about that anyways with stuff like the “totally 1920s and not 21st century” Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

I can kind of get it on the basis that DHS is the anti-Magic Kingdom mirrorverse so... Villains. And it'd give the park some needing family attractions. And I think Cars (as Radiator Springs Racers) fits well enough in MK and further props up the rumor of a "desert" land. Cactus Canyon.

No, they’re different ride systems. Dinosaur (and Indy in both Cali and Tokyo) use the EMV (enhanced motion vehicle) system, which is essentially a ride vehicle on top of a motion simulator.

TT, RSR, and JttCotE in Tokyo use the slot-car system, which only allows for traditional forward motion, but can reach much higher speeds.

Personally not buying into Coco making more sense than Cars, in this case. They're both properties that historically don't fit MK. To me it's the same if ones goes in over the other.
