Bears and Tiana? Makes sense to open that section of the park at once so they can say "See, we have more than a rethemed log ride! We have a rethemed Bear show too!" I'm starting to see a theme here. Why do we think they would re-open them together?
Didn't the Disneyland version of Splash Mountain take place during the day too? At least the "How Do You Do" sequence?Ours was just a big Fantasyland style dark ride.
Yeah, but you couldn't tell! It was like Pompeii was erupting and blocking out the sun in there.Didn't the Disneyland version of Splash Mountain take place during the day too? At least the "How Do You Do" sequence?

Todays CBJ suggests two things to me:
1) Tiana will open with CBJ this summer
2) Pecos Bill will close soon and reopen this summer with an appropriate theme given its proximity to TBA.
I think this specific problem will “thankfully” be avoided with TBA. Splash was already excellent with hiding the ceiling using foliage. Based on the one interior shot they showed, they’ve kept this the same, just adding a few flowers here and there. If this was purpose built new, I’d have no doubt this issue would have shown up.
No. I was in the camp of either a Tiana M&G or a little beignet shopSo we still have no idea what they're doing with the Briar Patch gift shop?
Oh did they? I was worried about that. They showed that in the tree/ grass/Shack shot? I don’t think I noticed.
I guess Before.I generally think whatever timetable you have for TBA, you should pad by 3 months. I think October 1st would be a good bet for TBA.
Does the Disneyland water tower have the quote on the back?
NRJ is not a screen based attraction by any definition though. It also never uses screens to make up for a lack of physical (or at least not obviously like in little mermaid). Some of the screens on NRJ, as just one example, add things to the ride that can't be accomplished with a physical set piece.
Um, maybe it's not "screen based" but it sure is "screen HEAVY." How much cooler would it be if there were actual animatronic animals to look at? Here's the answer...WAY COOLER! It was incredibly disappointing and boring for me and my family. Even the animatronic didn't seem to be utilized in a way that demonstrated its complexity fully.NRJ is not a screen based attraction by any definition though. Sad to know it was cut to what it is, pales compared to what is next doorIt's one of the best attractions they've built at WDW in a while. It's a phenomenal C ticket; making it longer and adding a bunch of animatronic animals would make it a D or an E.
That would be great, of course, but it was never intended to be an E. I'd love to see them build more NRJ type rides as complementary attractions -- it's much better than other recent attractions like Ratatouille.
The biggest problem with NRJ is that the wait times are too long because DAK doesn't have enough other attractions.
It also should have been built with the small world / pirates boats - the capacity is an issue. The biggest problem with NRJ is that the wait times are too long because DAK doesn't have enough other attractions.
I wasn’t arguing. I just don’t see NRJ as a screen based attraction.I don't see how that matters to the point we were discussing.
I think the confusion is stemming from the fact that no one said it wasI wasn’t arguing. I just don’t see NRJ as a screen based attraction.
