This is true.. but they just have to go a few miles up i4 and ride Hagrids.. that is the most complete ride experience in Orlando.

Ahh the queue could be plussed but for pure fun I don't know of better

Would they really want to open it just before the Holiday season which will already be very busy and not need an additional draw? I don't know if they would wish to deal with new ride teething problems on top of an already busy period.

It would make more sense to open in February and have some time before spring break to work out any operational kinks.

Whilst your logic may be sound, I will give you one and only one counter:

It will add to the overall atmosphere in Tomorrowland, but yeah views of it from a distance won't be great - even in much of Tomorrowland the People Mover Track will block the view some

I don't think you'll be able to see it even in Tomorrowland until you're next to or past Astro Orbiters.

Seems like the best view will be from on the Speedway.

The view from onboard the Peoplemover will fairly briefly show the canopy, but it will also show a great big portion of the ugly warehouse. Basically, they added an attraction whose primary selling point is its striking canopy and positioned it so that that visual element can really only be enjoyed from the state-of-the-art, certainly-shouldn't-have-been-ripped-out-decades-ago Speedway.

It should look great on approach after passing under the PeopleMover just past Space Mtn, but I really hope they do something about the awful view from Barnstormer.

It's been 4 years and they haven't bothered fixing any of the bad views on Slinky Dog Dash, so...

I do think they'll at least plant some trees there, though, if nothing else.

I’d guess more like 99% but I don’t think that was a debate. A thrill ride of this intensity doesn’t exist at MK, so it fills a void.

Is it me or does Tron miss a huge opportunity to create light patterns on the underside of the canopy that reflect the constellations? It would be a great way to connect it to Space Mountain and the original theming of Tomorrowland.

Everybody forgets Gadget's... In fact I bet Disney even forgets that it's back there. I bet when they closed Toontown and started trimming the bushes they were like "hey look, there's a roller coater back here. When the heck did we do this?"

You’re opinion is fine, but to 95% of Florida guests who will never go to Shanghai, (present company included), the ride looks awesome.

For me it’s not the duality of the attraction. I likewise will probably never visit Shanghai. However it’s the known fact that it’s simply not an impressive coaster. Will it be fun? Of course! and the seating position is novel (can’t wait for all the guests that can’t ride) but it’s very short by modern coaster standards.

I think they should update the lighting on SM, not exactly "flashy" but something with a little more contrast and it would mesh well with Tron.

I think if they added strip lighting to the spine struts on Space Mountain, it would look phenomenal together.
