EPCOT Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Wonder if they’re trying to finish the plaza around this and Play to push the construction walls back a bit in time for the 50th. Wouldn’t surprise me if they put up the Guardians ship as a photo op.

Would be great if they did, that side of the park is a mess. Just finish the plaza and put in some landscaping and move the walls back as far as possible.

I like that idea, but if they were planning on moving any of the walls back wouldn't they wait to install the Rocket and Groot statue in that vicinity?

I also feel like with the crowds for the 50th they might want more space at rope drop on that side. Plus a photo op is something Disney absolutely loves so….. either way construction walls moving back will just make the area feel so much bigger. I hate that side right now

I have to assume the character statue locations were picked long ago and they wouldn't be able to risk construction delays in a different area. That being said, I don't expect that to be wrapped up soon enough to move those walls anyway. That's looks about as finished as the area in front of Club Cool 2 months ago.

We have a trip planned for the first week of May and I’m not thinking it will be open. Technically Spring doesn’t end until June 21 and I’ve seen them push those seasonal openings until the very last weekend.

No one knows. The roof of Energy keeps getting new layer after layer. The roof of WoL keeps getting replaced. No one who has knowledge has said why.

Interesting item popped up in my social media feed yesterday... Guardians 3 is filming in the Atlanta/North Georgia area and they put out a casting call for extras. Filming dates are Nov 8, 2021 - March, 2022.

I may have missed a bit here and there, but this project has seemed to manage to stay under wraps pretty well. We’ve had a pic of the ride vehicle and a deliberately ambiguous sketch of the ride path. Seems more would have leaked by now.

Not much to show in this screen filled coaster, at least not much to show that’s worth risking your job.

I’m more surprised nothing has leaked from Wonders. Not a floor plan, not a single photo from the inside, nothing. I haven’t seen a thing since interior demolition first started, seems like something would’ve leaked by now.
