Parking at MGM an hour before closing? Possible?

We will be visiting WDW Jan 1-5th, and planned on visiting Epcot on our first day. We have dinner reservations at 5:20pm at Garden Grill, and would really like to try to get to MGM (aka Hollywood Studios) to see the Osborne Spectacle of Lights before it closes at 8pm. We unfortunately had to...

    New Year's Eve Crowds

I knew that NYE was really horrible in any park at WDW, but how is New Years Day? I'll be in Epcot that day. I'm starting to get worried about it but I had figured that many people will still be sleeping in during the morning hours.

    How is Coral Reef

I had dinner at Coral Reef in January. I was pleased with the food, service, atmosphere, and cleanliness of the restaurant. We actually had a really AWESOME waiter, one of the best I've ever had at WDW. On a 1-10, I'd rate it about a 7 based on my experience. However, it wasn't so amazing that I...

Help! Crocs have Taken Over Disney!

I agree with this author. Crocs are getting out of hand, not just at WDW. I hate those things. I know everyone justifies that they're comfortable, but they're so hideous!!!

    The Official Kingdom WDW Update

If I remember correctly, I think a boy about 12 or 13 years old had some kind of medical emergency on RnRc last summer at WDW. I don't think he died on the ride itself, but he did die at the hospital a while later. I'm thinking maybe it was a seizure or aneurysm? He passed out in the middle of...

    We won 2 dreams!!

Awesome, glad you had a great time!!!:) I was ill on my last trip to WDW, but was able to get help easily and the CMs at OKW were very helpful. Turner Drugs is a great pharmacy that delivers to WDW when you have prescriptions to fill and want to avoid driving to one yourself and waiting. You...

    Worst WDW Vacation EVER!!!!!

This is possibly the worst Disney Trip story I've ever heard of. I'm so sorry this all happened to you. Hopefully, you won't be too discouraged by it and will be able to enjoy your next trip.

universal going unfair on their website

I can see why you're annoyed by this, but it isn't really anything to worry about. If people want to believe that and go to Universal instead...let them. I don't mind WDW being a few families short b/c of Universal's advertising technique. I don't think Disney is really worried about this...

    fake or real?

I don't get why you would pay $500+ for these if your admission already gives you Fastpass. This is pointless. I would take my $500 and buy more days at Disney. I'll make note not to buy anything from this person ever. Thanks for sharing!

    Im Baaack

I can't believe how many people left at our theatre too! Only two other people besides my friend and I stayed through the credits for the final scene. It's weird, I thought "don't these people see us staying? wouldn't that make them think there's still something left?" I loved it! I'm sad that...

Help me fill out my eating itenerary - suggestions welcome!

I'm not familiar with the restaurants that are covered under the dining plan, but here are some suggestions based on my family's favorites: MK- table service: Liberty Tree Tavern counter: Cosmic Ray's (they have a wide variety that should fit your whole family's taste...and the grilled...

    WDW in Texas

It was rumored way back when they were trying to decide where to build WDW that Walt considered Louisiana...on the Northshore, above Lake Ponchatrain around a town called Abita Springs...which is about 20 miles or so from where I live. I'm sure he considered SEVERAL places...and Louisiana and...

    San Angel vs. Coral Reef

IMHO, I think San Angel and Coral Reef are equals. Neither of them really stand out in my mind, but they're pretty nice. I haven't been to San Angel since 2004, but the atmosphere is very nice and the food was good (not great). The tables are a little too close if you ask me. I had dinner at...
