I was thinking that could also be a current possibility. Disney World is undergoing a lot of budget cuts right now due to slow attendance but perhaps its closing earlier than scheduled to cut costs and will sit vacant for a year or two before ground breaking? Or maybe I'm just full of wishful thinking.
Well Disney executives (and a substantial amount of forum users) think otherwise. I can guarantee Zootopia fits far more into Animal Kingdom than Magic Kingdom, EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. No matter where it goes, you'll have a complaint.

Think of it as the Toontown of Animal Kingdom. Just as Disneyland Park has Toontown, Animal Kingdom would have Zootopia.
I don't think I need specific evidence on that. If it's an IP, Disney wants it in their parks. It's evident based on every move that they've made recently.

Well the movie doesn't exactly need to address conservation for the theme park land to do so. The Seas with Nemo and Friends doesn't talk about a lot of what is featured in the pavilion

For the sake of purists concerns I would think the movie would have to address something related to it IMO. People pick and choose what they believe what works in one park or another and can be a tad hypocritical.

People seem to have this hatred or disgust anytime it's mentioned as possible land with some weird reasons why.
Based on some of the stuff people have said to me before, Zootopia could’ve been about saving an ecosystem and keeping many animals from dying... And people would still say it doesn’t fit.
It's because this forum is overwhelmingly purist. I'm more moderate on the addition of IPs into the park but only when they make sense. I think Zootopia makes sense in all honesty and Disney executives probably do too.
