Hey, last week we had a work related party and they gave out prizes to everyone, they even put on a band on us like the ones used in beauty pageants. They gave each one os us names like Mrs.Galay, Mrs. Stress etc.... Can you guess what did I got named after?????

Mrs. Disney!!!

Yeah, I laughed a lot when they called me, but hey, this it's what it's all about.

I have a Disney wallpaper on my cell phone, disney ringtones, disney music on my ipod,

Well, I;
1. I carry my WDW pens with me to school and have them on my desk even though I may not use them
2. I have at least 5 discs worth of videos, sounds, and images i've found over the web
3. I have a BUNCH of DIsney wallpapers. Not only that, i've place a drawing of myself and Jenny from "My life as a Teenage Robot" infront of the castle in several pictures as my wallpaper as well. Not only showing my obsession of WDW, but of Jenny as well ^^

Here's one:

When it came time to decide what colors to paint our rooms, my wife and I thought about theming, and asked ourselves: What would an Imagineer do?

We're not doing character-heavy rooms, though. Instead, we're taking the ideas behind Disney's themed hotels to drive our creativity.

Every spare hour I have I spend researching and collecting items regarding the history of WDW. Oh, and the 69 WDW Videos I have edited, the 33 hours of area and attraction loops I have downloaded, the 110 hours of rare and attraction video I have downloaded, the 42 hours of video I shot over 2 trips, the hundreds of pounds I`ve spent online bidding and buying rare books, blueprints, maps and guides, the result of this book collection here, my self made EPCOT Center model here and the hours I spend online at sites like this - despite having spent only 25 days of my life in a WDW park.

I confess it`s an obsession :D

Amazing model of EPCOT. Any estimate on the number of hours? Better yet, do you have a thread or website devoted to it. If you do, let us know.

I imagine you have, or are about to break ground for Soarin'. Have you ever moved the inferno barge into the lagoon in the afternoon? Applause to you and your attention to detail. One other thing, what scale did you build it at?

Hours... more like weeks! Each pavilion and country was made separately then glued to the base. I have thought about Soarin`, hopefully I`ll get the time soon. And scale - pretty much my scale! As I said it was made before the internet and availability of plans, so I made it so it `looked` right. If anything, Energy is a bit too small.

Glad you like it though!

Okay, I want to play so here's my list.

1. My cats names are Jasmine, Belle, Simba, and Philoctetes (sp? Phil from Hercules).:D
2. My fish are named Pleakly and Sulley.
3. I am painting my guest room in a princess theme and using one of those themed doors from Home Depot.:king:
4. My Disney video collection (DVD's and VHS) outnumber my other movies 2 to 1 barely. I have to wait and see what dh gets for Christmas this year.
5. I buy a lottery ticket every week and when I win the big one, I want to propose building a park in a more Northerly climate, something with a more winter-like theme. It would include a ski resort for those snowy days. I picture a place where most rides are indoors but can extend outdoors in more warmer temps. Trust me it sounds weird but it would be cool. Hey I live in Idaho, what do you expect?
6. And lastly,I convinced my dh, who is anti-Disney  btw, to check out about getting a job as a nurse (he's an RN) at Disney. He is supposed to talk to somebody when we are at WDW in 11 days for the x-mas holiday:xmas: .

PS - to sgmco - let me know how your sims 2 game works out. My neice and I made a neighborhood in the sims 1 filled with Princesses and Villans we found on the internet. As she is only five, her mom and I tried to keep it simple. But I would love to do something Disney-tacular with my sims 2!

Tonight I had to come up with some practice math problems to give to the class as review for finals. My group was assigned Chapter 3: Least-squares Regression. I couldn't think of a final problem, but as I listened to Illuminations on my computer, I was inspired:

5. The number of fireworks shells that are set off at Epcot every night is dependent on how fast the wind is blowing. The Cast Members who work the fireworks show go by this table to decide how many fireworks to use (the fireworks show is not run above 20 mph):

Wind Speed (mph) 5 10 15 20
Fireworks Shells 2500 1800 1200 700

Plot these points in a graph along with the least-squares regression line. Is there a positive or a negative correlation? What is the slope of the line? The intercept? Predict how many shells are shot during Illuminations: Reflections of Earth when the wind speed is 17 miles per hour. The actual number of shells shot at 17 mph is 1000. What is the error in predicting? What is the point (mean x , mean y)? And last but not least, what percent of the number of shells shot off is explained by the least-squares regression line?

Yeah. Tell me about it...

I totally messed up the numbers but whatever. No one in my AP Stat class is gonna be like "FOOL! THEY SHOOT OFF (insert number) SHELLS DURING ILLUMINATIONS!" Mostly because they don't care.
