I was thinking the same thing, 3 is too small, but 3 at every park and the property....
MK:
1)
Bring back AE and theme tomorrowland with XS being the "sponsor" of the land of tomorrow and somehow incorporate it (even if it's just and XS sign off to the side)
2)
Make a Wall-E (spiderman technology) dark ride in tomorrowland where tomorrowland speedway is and extend the building so where the train goes through it and train rides can get a sneek peak (this could also mean a BnL themed tomorrowland, but since its my dream list and XS>BnL imo XS is numero uno)
(I would say nemo in the lagoon, but since it's already been said like 100x)
3)
An overhaul of adventureland replacing the MASSIVE area the jungle cruise and tom sawyer island encompass and create like 4/5 rides and a possible indiana jones/mutt williams, mine train in a temple, dark coaster.
Epcot:
1)
One by one, putting every country outa comission and re-doing them (or keeping them open and re-doing part of them) putting an ATTRACTION in every country. Go to the country for backing and if they dont poney up, put a new country in. You can find 12 countries to fill that space (and the our lovely US gonverment, but with obama in office you never know :shrug
. The only 2 not needing an overhaul would be mexico and norway imo, they have two solid attractions (not E-ticket by any streach of the imagination, but just something to attract people), a video, resturants, shops, etc. Every country needs this.
2)
Add in a coaster or two on either side of future world. Imagination pav was supposed to have a mount fuji so maybe getting rid of Honey I shrunk the audience, taking up the room next to it and canada, and really going all out. Between mission space and test track, in wonders of life, to the right of test track over the land and water (which would have to be filled in) allowing the monerail to go through it (how AMAZING would that be, a monerail going through an indoor coaster
). Truth be told bigger and badder coasters are the future.
3)
Do SOMETHING with world showcase lagoon or the MASSIVELY under utilized space in front of it. There is a lot of land for maybe an UP tower of terror like (but not scary or anything just the up high concept) attraction, or an indoor/outdoor water attraction (splash mountain esk). Then you could have the 3 mountains, mount fuji, this water mountain, and the indoor dark coaster as another mountain, just like the popular mountains in MK. Although I wouldnt call them mountains, planets, stars worlds, galaxy's, i would work with the name then you could have 2 tripple wammy shirts you could peddle to the public.
DHS
1)
Dominate pixar place by making NEW attractions. I put the new part in there for all the MILF haters. The new area needs to go from the backlot tour (just to the right of LMA), down through it's a the old and outdated honey i shrunk the audience play area, going across taking up narnia but stopping just before one mans drea. The MI dark coaster is where we need to start (no phase 1 2 junk, balls to the wall 100% pulling out all the stops). Then a 'magic show' based on that rabbit in the pixar short in front of wall-e (in the narnia area), Carsland, its a bugs life play area (instead of honey i shrunk the kids outdated area), and finally a block buster incredibles ride that is the whip cream, sprinkles, hot fudge, and cherry on top. Something they go all out on that will bring DHS's attendance over every park but MK. Something that will stand for decades b/c of how marvelous and ground breaking it is.
2)
Do something, ANYTHING with streets of america right now! It's got an old muppets show and a lights motor actions show, and its really laughible that Disney has let this part of a park go for so long. It's got buildings, thats right, fake, non enterable, buildings. It's like playing grand theft auto or something, you can go around and look, but theres nothing to do. Why not an outdoor NYC coaster? Wrapping the track around the buildings so that you could watch the coaster while you walked past. Chicago style quick service pizza in pizza planet (and move it's decour to somewhere in pixar place). A tropical miami like indoor attraction that makes you feel like your rollin down idk one of those roads down there. It's streets of america and all there are literally is streets, nothing to see nothing to do, but americas streets HAVE STUFF (as do most areas in theme parks). I'm not quite sure what they've been going for all of these years so i cant speculate on the specifics, but please imagineers, its more barren then pixar place and pixar place only has TWO attractions and is 1/7th the size!!!
3)
Time to get started on Lucas Land seperating it from Echo Lake/Hollywood Blvd. Start with Starwars 2.0, keep the indiana jones show, but have a mutt williams indiana jones style ride with mutt going on his second journey, but this time without his father (with maybe a cameo by harrison ford??) and we come along with him for the adventure (maybe using the ride vehicles from Dinosaur and the other indy ride b/c those were in the 4th movie). Maybe an attraction loosely based off of labyrinth (but for the 21st or 22nd century just using the concepts not the film itself) or a brand new lucas style of ride. Then you could do a miriad of resturants/shops. One shop at each exit, a cantina themed and modeled resturant from tatooen(sp?) thats table service (with the bar where luke chops off aliens hands of course), a possible indiana quick service resturant themed however the imagineers see fit. Or a laybrenth like resturant where you have to go through small passageways to enter the other dining areas (quick service of course)
DAK
1)
Imaginary creature area. Whether it is based off of hurcules, dragons, unicorns, trolls, boogymen, WHATEVER, imaginary creatures, no if's and's or butt's anymore.
2)
An aquatic themed area. This is something the park is seriously lacking. I really dont like Nemo's placement (eating up park of the already small Dinoland USA), but it's a big seller to its a must leave. Possibly building back and foward of Nemo and altering the bridge to allow a sort of expansion where as Nemo is the first aquatic ride (if your approaching from Dinoland USA) and it moves back eventually leaving you gazing at the mountain when you exit out the other side. I mean it's a park about animals, how many animals live under us.....too many not to have an area just for them
3)
Dinoland USA expansion/improvement. With Tarzan (a dinoland type creature) being tossed out for the new nemo ride, that part of the park has left me scratching my head. The carnival style games are a nice touch (even though it is very losely associated with prehistoric time), so is the kids play area (much like the HISTK play area was in DHS when it was 1st built), but the lack of rides for the FAMILY (including adults) is depressing. Dinosaur is the only one, the other two are mainly kid friendly ride. There needs to be a show and another ride to attract the main audience which is EVERYONE. There are two rides I cant get my dad to ride with me, one of them is MS (but he can now b/c they made a non spin version) and the other is Tryceretops Spin.
3 1/2) I'm sorry I'm cheating but after looking at the park map I completly forgot about Rafiki's Planet Watch and Camp Mini Mickey (b/c i never go there).
RPW and CMM overhaul and re-theme b/c it doesnt work. If you cant build hardcore coasters b/c its not family, then what are you doing making areas of the park just for little kids? Teenagers are part of the family. Also adults are mainly left watching there little kids get enjoyment (which gives them enjoyment indirectly), but is nothing geared towards them. I have a million ideas but im done cheating
Walt Disney World
1)
The WDW dream list must ALWAYS start with a monerail extension no matter WHO you are. Imagine staying at POP or on the far south west at All Star and grabbing the monerail? Whaa Whaa Whaa???? Stunned is the word your looking for and it's the one thing that if disney really DID do, they would not only appease all of the tree huggers, but would also eliminate the HUGE gas costs AND matinence costs for those EXPENSIVE busses AND personelle costs! If you did it right you might not even need boat transportation anymore (although that would garnish emense public out cry, so you might need to keep some), just think about it.
Just like how the monerail goes from Contemp, to TTC, to Polly, to grand flordian to MK, you could do the SAME THING and people would eventually be satisfied with the change (so less cost for employees, gas, and the boats once again). The monerail could go from Epcot, to the Swan and Dolphin (one for both much like contemp n the contemp towers), the Boardwalk, and then Old Key West/Yhatt and Beach Club (I think is the name of the other hotels im not positive b/c im only on the boardwalk 1ce a year). That would be a great starting point, but somehow MGM would need to be entered into the action (b/c you can go from your hotel, to epcot, to TTC, to MK). Maybe Epcot Could become the TTA for those on the boardwalk, allowing you to go to either TTC to MK, or DHS, or the Boardwalk Hotels Monerail.
Even if it's not a one monerail one stop takes you EXACTLY where you want to go, since everyone has to take the same 1/2 monerails, you could have many on the track at once allowing for much a much speedier pace to the parks then taking the bus from the contemp or wilderness lodge.
How about TTC including fort wilderness (maybe 2 pickup points), Wilderness lodge, and TTC. Saratoga springs, DTD, typhoon lagoon, and Epcot. MGM, POP, Caribean Beach. Blizard Beach, Coronado Springs, MGM. Animal Kingdom, All Stars, (and maybe wide world). Animal Kingdom to MGM. I know I probably missed some parks, but with 4/5 circuits, you can get everyone instead of having 50-100 busses (depending on how busy it is). You rock a couple monerails on each circuit and away you go. Less gas, less matinence, less labor cost, less hassle.
2)
Fix Downtown Disney. Build it back up to where its a daytime AND a night time hot spot. It will not only help the disney economy, but will give adults something to do when they wanna use disneys babysitting service, or send there kids off to do the hotel excursions (like i know at WL they have some) and have an adult get away in disney, wreck the kid image, bring back the family image by having specific nitches for each given demograpic. If you try to please everyone you wont please anyone, thus having one area specifically targeted for adults, teens, tweens, children, elderly, works. Look at the disney cruise line, i havent heard a bad thing and the one statement that gets repeated over and over is "its so relaxing to be able to get away from all of those kids". ADULTS WANT THIS, they want to be treated special every now and again, they dont bust there nuts for 355 days a year for nothing, if they choose your destination to relax and be entertained, give them what they want. Maybe have a casino in and around the old PI spot??? I got a million ideas, but since im never gonna be an imagineer
cry
, i mine as well share em to with people who care.
3)
Build a 5th, all coaster park. My main idea that I would personally enjoy the most and so I know there is a demographic for it. To my knowledge it's never been done, and even so, since disney hasnt done it, its never done right. DISCLAIMER, disney isnt allowed to do this until I can be executive imagineer for that park (like joe rohde for animal kingdom), that being said, it really would need to be done right. A coaster park could and WOULD work because it is possible to target the FAMILY. Not only that, but with this park disney would be able to grab the ellusive teen demographic. Go ahead, poll teenagers, 13-19 i dare you, see how many say they like your parks and your rides best. Its hard for most people to admit there in the minority, but i can do it. I love disney, but no one i know whose a teenager has an attraction to it like i do. They all love IoA and Uni for 3 rides, hulk, mummy, and dueling (which is sad b/c this was DAKs origonal idea stolen). So these teens are growing up with a fondness for these parks, and do you think one day that there gonna go 'oh today i love disney more?' NO. It's car insurance, its political affiliation, park love in most cases is locked in for life. It's like having a WDW magic person wake up one day and go, you know disney sucks im gonna go to universal from now on.
I'm not saying people dont go to both on there vacation (and sea world), im saying, where do you stay and where do you spend majority of your money. If you had one day where would you go, disney NEEDS teens to say them. Children go with the flow, adults will more then likely say disney (b/c they remember from when they were kids and teens when disney was the biggest baddest cat on the block, although now the love disney for other reasons but STILL disney stuck with them), and the elderly will probably be with disney (b/c walt opened a LONG time again with no competation). When you get 30/40 years of former teens that loved uni who are now all flocking to uni as adults, bringing there kids, bringing there aging parents, telling there friends, bringing there kids friends, telling there co workers, making PTA trips, etc, disney WILL suffer and at that point there is nothing they can do but lose a LOT of revenue by investing in the future and not seeing any 1-5 year return. Thats what uni IoA is doing now, investing in the long term the 30/40 years. They've already got about 10 years on there side, and Disney NEEDS to turn this around. They need young imagineers with fresh ideas and disneys attention to detail and magic mentality.
I'm not saying there doing the wrong thing with expanding to other countries, not at all its a smart move, but neglecting your big dog will result in him being taken over. They might hold down other areas, but WDW isnt getting any TLC or attention, thats why DLT is booming and in may we will see that WDW is dropping. Go ahead and blaim it on the economy, but still, when it upswings, people will be spending at the places that prepaired for future, not ones that cut out projects, cut down projects, built cheep products.
A person who has no preference to any company and sees, a new state of the art rock and roll coaster, a brand new coaster that does a FRONT FLIP, or ......the same old neglected place, where are they gonna go? Not to mension when its $50 per park per YEAR ($99 annual), that park isnt only percieved as new cutting edge and catering to the public, but also as the better value, something disney loses each and everyday they let there product wither away
