Ok this subject of hidden gems has come up now & again, but if you were to pick just one QS and one TS restaurant, which would they be.My vacation finished last week and was on the QS dining plan, but had 3 ADRS booked. But we took a chance of getting a lunch spot at Sanaa on our second week and it was superb. We got a 1.40pm slot on our third last day.DS had Tandoori chicken and DW had Tandoori shrimp and I had the spiced Durban chicken,my oh my,this has my vote for TS hidden gem and for hidden gem at QS it as to be Cookes of Dublin. The home made pies were awesome, chicken & lamb pies, and our DS fish & chips were superb. So what are your two favourite hidden gems?:)

I hear so many wonderful things about Cookes of Dublin...

Our hidden Gem isn't so hidden..
I think Jiko is one of the most underated restaurants in the World.

I would really recommend Jiko....again, bit really hidden, just unappreciated by the masses. :p

If I could only eat 1 TS, it would be the stacked breakfast at Kouzzina.

If I could only eat 1 QS, it would be the cheese empanadas in Mexico/Epcot.

Neither one of those is insanely popular, but I can't go to the world without eating both.

The Cabana Bar and Beach Club next to the pool at the Dolphin is one of the best lunch options in all of Disney World, and there's rarely anyone there. The menu is small, but very good, and it is updated seasonally, so it never gets stale. They also have a good mixed drink menu and a pretty decent draft beer selection that gets changed out often enough to be worth an occasional visit.

It is very much a hidden gem, so don't everybody run there at once. I still want to be able to get a seat at the bar when we swing by for a visit in November.

I concur that Kouzzina is fantastic for Breakfast

Captains Grill at the Yacht Club has excellent food and a really good steak, not on par with the Yachtsman Steakhouse..but nowhere near the cost either

I think the most underappreciated meal in disney is lunch at Olivia's at OKW, it is so phenomenal with decent prices when you think about you're in disney!

I love Tortuga for QS at MK. We have it every time. We like that it is different from burgers and chicken fingers and pizza. As for TS gem - I think GF Cafe is a little hidden treasure. Always good, and you can almost always just walk right up. The french toast is amazing! As are the lunches! :)

I just discovered this one on Friday-

The food court at Riverside (a resort I don't particularly care for) has a make your own pasta station that's like $11. You pick the type of pasta you want (4 choices), the type of sauce (again, 4 choices), what meat you want, and then there's tons of vegetables. You can get as many as you want and it's all the same price. It comes with a breadstick. I was quite impressed.

This would be another vote for both Captain's Grill and Turf Club - both have always had outstanding service, great food and never an issue getting ADR's, or walk-ups.
Our best hidden (if you can call it hidden) gem for a QS has to be Pepper Market at CS - have made it a point to get there the past three trips for their fajitas, and we'll be there again in about three weeks!

I don't think I can offer a TS hidden gem, my fave is California Grill, nothing hidden about that! QS I love Mara, they have great choice and the carved turkey sandwiches are fab. Also Wolfgang Puck Express at DD and Earl of Sandwich.

Agree with the pasta station,we have just returned from 14 nights at PORS and the pasta with shrimp is so big,it's enough for two adults.
