Ok this subject of hidden gems has come up now & again, but if you were to pick just one QS and one TS restaurant, which would they be.My vacation finished last week and was on the QS dining plan, but had 3 ADRS booked. But we took a chance of getting a lunch spot at Sanaa on our second week and it was superb. We got a 1.40pm slot on our third last day.DS had Tandoori chicken and DW had Tandoori shrimp and I had the spiced Durban chicken,my oh my,this has my vote for TS hidden gem and for hidden gem at QS it as to be Cookes of Dublin. The home made pies were awesome, chicken & lamb pies, and our DS fish & chips were superb. So what are your two favourite hidden gems?:)
Cookes of Dublin is great. Sometimes when I am working in the area of DTD . I get Fishn Chips to go.

Hatter, you inspired us to try it! I know we are going to love it! Thanks so much!
Your very welcome. We enjoyed it so much we thought to ourselves, wouldn't it be great to stay at AKL and dine at Sanaa then Bomas, then Jikos, then back to Sanaa, and so on.Talk about a gastronomic adventure.:)

Not a restaurant, but if you enjoy an adult beverage, the Bellevue Lounge in Boardwalk is my favorite hidden gem. Around the corner from the elevators inside, it's a cool 1930s theme with a quiet radio in the background playing swing and old Jack Benny radio shows. Comfy couches. We stay at swan and dolphin a lot, and I love stopping in for a martini or single malt after Epcot, on the way back to the hotel.

Great question Hatter! Ours, is the barefoot bar at the Poly Pool. We have always met the most wonderful bartenders, who were extremely nice, made suggestions, and would tell us hidden *secrets* of various going ons throughout the parks and resorts.

My hidden gem for QS is Captain Cook's Snack Company at the Poly. My fave is the "grown up" grilled cheese sandwich with 3 types of cheese on sunflower toast, served with a trio of home made chips. They serve breakfast as well as sandwiches, salads and stir fry. They even serve Tonga Toast and Dole Whips!

I agree with the pasta station at PORS. We stayed there for the first time last year and I had an early dinner at the food court and chose the pasta simply for the carbs since I was running the Wine & Dine at 10 pm that night.....ended up being one of my favorite QS meals of the trip. We'll be there again in 118 days so I'll have to "force" myself to have it again!

We also ended up cancelling a ressie for 50s Prime Time on our last night and ate at Boatwright's. It was one of our favorite TS meals of the entire trip! We'll be having it again this year too! :)
