I don't remember those. Classic! :)

Really?! If you don't remember them I bet no one else will. When I was a really little kid (early 80s), my mom would tape all these movies off the old-school Disney channel. We still have the VHS tapes of all of them.

Original Family Band actually had a crazy all-star cast including:Walter Brennan,Buddy Ebsen, Lesley Ann Warren, Kurt Russell, and Goldie Hawn. It was this super awesome movie about the Benjamin Harrison/Grover Cleveland election and the inclusion of North and South Dakota in the United States. One of my first political science lessons...fitting that I would make a career of it in the end. :p

I loved Snowball Express...I think most people over 45 will remember it-- it was a major motion picture release..

How about Darby OGill and the Little People

Victoria

Not old, just vintage.
I've never even heard of any of those. I'm 27 and used to watch the Disney Channel all the time...I guess maybe I'm not old enough.

My sister loved Watcher in the Woods. It terrified me. But I scare easily.
The other ones I don't really remember, but may have seen. We watched a lot of "obscure" Disney movies when I was a kid...

I have a few of those movies on VHS. Loved Child of Glass. Some of my favorites from childhood were The Gnome Mobile, Treasure of Matecumbe, and The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh.

I loved that movie growing up but couldn't tell you ANYTHING about it (aside from the obvious plot description from the title!)

I've seen a couple of these. When I was a kid in the '90s, the video store had a "Disney wall" in the back room (not that back room :lookaroun) and carried a lot of the older movies on VHS in the same white clamshell boxes.

I remember seeing things like Darby O'Gill, Happiest Millionare, Apple Dumpling Gang, Blackbeard's Ghost (still a family favorite...my dad and sister love to quote it!), etc.

Invariably, those videos all had this preview at the end. I get very nostalgic for my childhood watching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVCoWtlu3dE

I forgot about Blackbeards Ghost. One of my favorites was the original Parent Trap.

Anyone remember The Moonspinners with Hayley Mills?

I don't remember Moonspinners! I also love Parent trap though...I thought it was the most romantic movie when I was about 13 years old. OOOOOOOkkkkk...I still do.

Sorry, but not only do I remember all of these, I've actually seen all of them. But an interesting thread nevertheless, as some Disney films are more obscure than others.

Hah! You are the first one on the thread so far! Do you know all the others that people have mentioned? They have mentioned some that I haven't seen.

The Apple Dumpling Gang. Both the original and its sequel.
Blackbeard's Ghost
Darby O'Gill and the Little People
The Gnome Mobile
The Great Mouse Detective
The Happiest Millionaire
Moonspinners
Parent Trap. Both the original and the remake.
The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh
Treasure of Matecumbe

I've seen 'em all. Some on their original release. Some on their re-release. And some I had to wait till they were shown on television. But I've seen 'em all.

I counted 72 that I have seen before. I own quite a few. I wish Disney would bring back many of these from The Wonderful World of Disney. A Disney channel that only showed movies, series, etc. from the 50's-80's would be great.

I had forgotten some of the great ones like Toby Tyler, Babes in Toyland, Follow Me Boys, 3 Lives of Thomasina and In Search of the Castaways.
