They start off the song in the mine already so they never sing it on the way to work that we hear, only on the way back.

Actually, we do hear them sing it on the way to work. I couldn't find a clip of it on YouTube. But it's true. It's at the 1 hour 12 minute mark. I just checked.

We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig in our mine the
whole day through
To dig dig dig dig dig dig dig is what we really like to do
It ain't no trick to get rich quick
If you dig dig dig with a shovel or a pick
In a mine! In a mine! In a mine! In a mine!
Where a million diamonds shine!

We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig from early morn till night
We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig up everything in sight
We dig up diamonds by the score
A thousand rubies, sometimes more
But we don't know what we dig 'em for
We dig dig dig a-dig dig

Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho

[Chorus]
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
It's home from work we go
[Whistle]

Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho

When I was younger I remember being terrified to ride Space Mountain because I thought it was full of ghosts that would pop out at you. I think I was confusing it with the Haunted Mansion.

I was also scared to ride the Tower of Terror because I thought you stood during the ride.

Yes, Haunted Mansion def had the popping up heads from behind the gravestones...don't worry they scared the bejeebers out of me too back in the day! They have since made them slower and less scary after a number of refurbs there

The meaning of SPACESHIP EARTH never made sense to me until I was older. All I remember riding the attraction as a kid is thinking "Okay, when is this spaceship going to take off?"
