The Welcome to Walt Disney World sign is the first thing but then it's checking in. It's like it can't go fast enough. I need my keys to the world, and I need them NOW! Then, it's when we get on the bus... oh how I love the Disney bus. Still, it's when we see the opening show at the Magic Kingdom. I think I'll go cry now.....

I know I get to Walt Disney World when I smell the air from the airplane touching down in Orlando. When we all get in the rent-a-car and it has the new car smell. When I start seeing the advertisements on the side of the high way for the best place on earth(WDW!) And last but not least when I get inside The Beach Club Villas and I think..I'm home

mine is one the WDW sign and MK main street, i guess we all share the same feeling, ooh and its not disney but florida when i come out the airport doors!

Definately I do the stupid giddy girly clap once we see the WDW sign.
The monorail is another happy moment... but once I hit main street and see that castle first thing in the morning... I literally get butterflies, huge child-like grin... and usually a tear of happiness

Same for me! I also do the stupid girly clap, when we board the airplane in Montreal, when we get on the Magical express bus, when I see the WDW sign and when I first see the castle...I can't control myself, the clap comes automatically when I feel I'm getting closer to WDW!!!:sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

It used to be making that turn from 192 into the Main Enterance, there was a cresent shaped lake/pond to the right and that was where the landscaping and sand islands with palm trees in the center of the road started. A few years later when EPCOT openned, it also became seeing the monorail to the right of the car for the first time. Because back then, the only real sign was that over the toll plaza.... god that brings back memories

Here are a few things for me when you know you're at WDW:

The Enterance

Checking into our resort; it just makes it feel "official."

Entering MK, walking through MS:USA, and seeing Cindrella's Castle again.

mine is when ur on I-4, the way to disney, and you see the mickey mouse shaped power line pole. everytime i see it, i say to myself " yep, must be at disney".

LOVE seeing that.

You guys sure know how to motivate me to get a summer job so We can go back!!!
