I mean theme it! Put some money into this attraction and give it a 2.0 version. It sorely needs it.
I'm a bit lost in this thread.. do you know if we will get back the yeti?
Who is this "they"?They keep claiming they can't fix it until they complete the expansion...So once Avatar-Land Opens they can close Everest for it's rehab...or so they were saying...

And where is the return on investment on this? Everest's lines haven't suffered as an effect of the yeti not working, so why should they pour money into an attraction that is still getting strong ridership? Haunted Mansion is literally the only popular attraction I have continually seen Disney plus for no apparent reason. The status quo seems to be only to truly plus something when the alternative is tearing it down and losing ride capacity.
No, I just know they yeti's not being fixed anytime soon
I missed this when it happened, but apparently none other than Joe Rohde has promised to fix the Yeti, "someday." He swears he will, so it must be true. They keep claiming they can't fix it until they complete the expansion...So once Avatar-Land Opens they can close Everest for it's rehab...or so they were saying...
He's right.A friend who works at WDW referred to THEY as in TDO as in management... Do I know the exact person in management that told him this? no... But his information to me has always been spot on, correct...
Well they can fix Yeti before the Avatar addition. But they will run into capacity problems because Eisner build the park so cheaply that after two decades it is still not up to capacity. They keep claiming they can't fix it until they complete the expansion...So once Avatar-Land Opens they can close Everest for it's rehab...or so they were saying...
Capacity will not be a problem if they decide to fix the Yeti because the ride will not need to go down.
