Dunno. I haven't really been able to find any solid info about Disney and NYWF39. 1964 is a no-brainer, and Walt's dad helped build 1895. The closest I've gotten to any kind of info is that company historian Dave Smith once told me in passing that it was "very likely" that the Imagineers looked at "all of the World's Fairs" when gathering info for the planning for EPCOT.

Despite having no solid info, I'd take that bet.

I've been scouring the web tonight looking for photos of Epcot of areas i've never seen, dont recall, or havent seen in years.

Anyone remember this rider at Epcot? Don't know the name of it but it was there the first time I went to Epcot in 2002 but was gone when I went again last summer in 2013.
