I went, I saw, I celebrated. :sohappy: Seriously, trust everything you heard and saw, and then multiply by 100. It's THAT good.
Some may remember me saying some time ago that I thought Nightcrawler's teleport looked weird. I WAS WRONG. The opening sequence of this movie is AWESOME. They might as well can the Wolverine movie and go for a Nightcrawler one. This movie could easily have been called X2: Nightcrawler. Great character development, basically all of them are much better. Story line... Well, we can discuss it after you all see it, but the main "danger" was just too iffy for me. For the bad stuff, I still don't like their Mystique, I HATE Halle Berry, I kept wishing for Magneto to kill her with her own freaking Oscar. She totally lost the accent she nailed so good in the first one because, after all, she's a BIG star now.
Iceman is great, he doesn't ice up, though. Pyro was cool, Kitty Pryde was cool, Wolvie got SO MUCH BETTER, if Singer doesn't add Colossus on the next one, I will personally shoot him, he was great on the 2 seconds he was on screen. Xavier is the greatest mind on the planet in the comics, on both movies he's just the bald dude. And I still don't know why they gave Rogue an uniform.

We'll go deeper after you guys see it.

My personal favorite is Juggernaut, and yes i know he is a Bad Guy. But Omega Red is a Bad A$$ too. And Shatter Star. I would like to see them in a movie.

I'm definently going to see it tomorrow! I'm glad Nightcrawler is getting good reviews, as he's one of my favorite X-Men. I'm still on the "We Need Gambit" bandwagon!

Going to go see it on Saturday. I have Confirmation on Friday, which sort of a bummer I can't see the film on opening night but what are ya going to do?

Anybody excited about THE MATRIX RELOADED??!! I am even more excited about going to see the film. I am going with Mary, who is part of an Advanced English/History project group. We're good friends but she actually agreed to go on a date with me. Here's hoping it goes well.

Actually, that's this HUGE thing about X2's plotline that links it to the 3rd movie, but I'm gonna wait till you guys see it.

Just a little hint: this script was clearly based in three very important X-Men comic plots. Weapon X, God Loves, Man Kills, and this HUGE 3rd one that you gotta see the movie (and be kind of a fan) to get it. I'm saying kind of a fan because I saw a lot of people getting out of the movie ed off, so I know they didn't understand what's going to happen in 2-3 years. :zipit:

X2 is getting pretty good reviews so far. Actually, this should be a pretty good movie month, with X2, Matrix Reloaded (the trailer for that looks stunning) and Finding Nemo. Then Disney in June!!! :sohappy:

I'm glad your review was so positive. Comic movies are one of the few movies I feel have potential to be much better in sequels cause several characters are introduced already by the second film. Weapon X is a good route to go.

I go to see it Sunday.

I saw it last night and agree it was pretty impressive. It definatly made up for a "lacking" first movie (Im over-critical of all comic book movies). Actor choice could have been a TAD bit better (most of the cast choices i disagreed with from the first movie), but it was definatly enjoyable.

How much you wanna bet xmen 3 is minus halle berry since now she won the oscar. She'll ask for way too much money.

:sohappy: Now, I really can't wait. It sounds like they are actually trying to bring a complicated world like the X-men have to the big screen without skimping too much. Let's face it, the first was nice, but the effects were modest in many areas. It appears that 2 has more mutant abilities (Especially if a lot of Mutants are only on screen for a few minutes). If the go with sentinnels, then we are talking some Major Special effects. I can see Wolverine tearing into one right now.

I'm also glad to hear Nightcrawler was pulled off so well, I was a little concerned about that.

And yeah, if they ever bring in the Sentinels, Wolive is ready for it. Hugh Jackman improved 200%. Lots of slice and dice on this one!! :zipit:

As a 100% Spiderman fan, I couldn't ever predict a comic movie better that the one last summer. But X2 was unbelievable! I friggin' wait to discuss this movie. It's incredible how well the movie was made in the Marvel universe. Insane!!! I salute everybody that wokred on this film. The most beautiful blend of comics and reality I've ever seen.

Anybody who wants to discuss the movie, I'm up for it! It's friggin insane!!!

I saw several reviews of Matrix 2 and they say that Matrix reloaded is much better then the original Matrix,so that`s got to be awesome this is shaping up to be one heck of a summer for the movie industry!
