(psst...that's the joke...there is NO DIFFERENCE betweena violin and a fiddle, just the style in which it's played...)

Question: What's the difference between a violin and a viola.
Answer: A viola burns longer.

Hey everyone. I went shopping today at the local Rag Shop. I bought a sketch book to make a homemade autograph book. Hopefully it comes out alright. I also just want to make a general comment:

I do not want to get involved in the alcohol/whatever argument, but I really want to say this. Bonny did ask us once to keep this discussion out of the thread. I feel that if you do want to keep on discussing it, could you keep it to PMs? Thank you very much. Again, don't want to get involved, just want to keep this forum a happy forum. Thank you, and have a happy, magical day!

Yes... but Voldemort, in my personal opinion, works much better indirectly than in reality. I think he should be more... direct and particular in his actions. No stumbling of jerky movements, but more of an air of venomness and cruelty...

Hm... I'm not sure how much sense that makes...

No, I get it, and believe pretty much the same thing.

Seemingly gliding across land, with aura of foreboding: Scary.

Hobbling along land with aura of broken leg: Not so scary.

There's a difference between actually stereotyping and stereotyping for the sake of making fun of you. :lookaroun

It makes sense, but what Ralph and Newell were trying to get across was that he was just reborn. He'll be completely different in OotP, or at least, he should be.

You could try asking my subconscious.

I don't know what kind of answer you would get, though.
:lookaroun

I have enough trouble trying to understand the conscious Connor.
I don't think I'm ready for the subconscious. :lookaroun

Maple or Sequoia?

:lookaroun

Surprisingly few maple trees around these parts, actually.

(Truth be told, I actually did see a few beavers on Saturday night. They lumbered right up to our site from the river and started gnawing at a huge tree next to our Yurt.

I lay awake for awhile, out of fear of being crushed in my sleep. :lookaroun)

OK, just for THAT, another musician joke:

Q: What's the difference between a trombone player lying dead in the road, and a squirrel lying dead in the road?

A: The squirrel might have been on his way to a gig.

Mary, why is it I'm picturing you running around wearing a leisure suit with a paper bag on your head as you tell these jokes?
