Living under a rock, as it were... :lookaroun

I buy popcorn or ice cream from one of the food places every chance I get. Don't know why they have such good food (especially popcorn).

We don't sell ice cream at ours, but popcorn is our number one seller. Especially the combo with a drink.

I don't understand it... if the prices are universally the same at all the Targets, then how come the popcorn costs somewhere around $1.00, yet the popcorn and drink combo costs something like $0.99?

I'm not complaining.

Down here, the popcorn alone is $0.99 and the popcorn combo is $1.00.

Everyone is amazed by it. It seriously makes people's days when I tell them that.

Fo' sho'.

A few weeks ago, this lady came up to the counter. This was the conversation:

Lady: "Is it true that a bag of popcorn and a drink is a dollar?"
Me: "Yes"
Lady: "But a bag of popcorn by itself is 99 cents?"
Me: "Yes"
Lady: "WOW! I love this place! I'll take two!"

It was really funny...

No, not till May 13th.
And yes, I am stocking up on Kleenex.
I get teary just thinking about it.

Dot, I know you've already left for the evening, but shopping for your daughter's wedding gown is definitely emotional. And - fun. All rolled into one. The sad part is seeing your little girl all grown up; the fun part will be seeing her so happy. It's a real rollercoaster of an experience.

I guess shopping can get pretty intense...

Speaking of shopping. Did you get clothes with your mom yet?

Yes... I happen to be wearing some right now.
I think we ended up with a few more polo shirts from Kholes (sp?) and American Eagle.
