But @wdwmagic just posted a story about them changing to dynamic pricing…and then poofed it.

If they do, that indicates nothing short of foolish desperation to me. There are far too many variables already involved in planning a WDW trip, and if their focus was truly customer-centric this sort of added complexity wouldn't even be considered.

As foolish as it sounds, you know they will probably do it. The other thing in that article it mentioned doing the same with their hotels.

This rumor does show how much they really don't understand the parks and how they work.

The Blog Mickey Article is truthful in that it is a Rumor and that nothing has been confirmed.

Then I would take that as a confirmation that it's not happening...at least yet.

There's a pretty good track record behind these sort of things here.

I imagine it all has to do with the WSJ article. I'm betting they are waiting for that to blow over.

Instead of doing something to change that perception of it being too expensive, they did their typical PR and let this rumor out on a Friday.

You know what would be nice if a rumor leaked they were making skip the line free again that would be the real power move after all this bad press

Disney doesn't care what actual and perspective guests think about them raising prices, but they are concerned with their public perception in the media (legacy and the new media that they have sway over).

This idea is coming, it's just been delayed a little longer to be polished up a little bit so that the people whose opinion's matter to Disney, can be coerced to come on board.

It's posts like this is why I feel the way I do towards Disney. It's sad to see how little they care about their guests now. Guest satisfaction was a big deal at one time but now all that matters is how WSJ and media feel.

Ordinary Guests see the extra special treatment that the Bought and Paid for Influencers and Grifters get that they don't.

The actual guest experience is not all cupcakes and pixie dust like the Instagram, TikTok, or Youtube shills make it out be.

With a new social media Disney insider influencer popping up every day, at this rate that’s all they are gonna end up with in the parks oozing over every little thing most won’t be able to afford or want the frustration of trying to do.
