Rumor Wreck-It-Ralph Attraction Likely to Replace Stitch’s Great Escape

The place (MK) needs more capacity-
But, as peeps start to understand that Genie is a good buy at MK (and HS)- but can be an avoided expense at Ak and Epcot, I bet the next round of expenditures would make more business sense at those parks - in order to get more Genie money when peeps visit…
Obviously speculation…

I love getting new attractions, but Ralph doesn't belong in Tomorrowland. But then again something not fitting an area hasn't stopped Disney in recent years (see Moana in Epcot). That's especially evident in Tomorrowland as well with Speedway and Monsters Inc already existing.

Monsters needs to move to Hollywood Studios to the Pixar section...
Speedway needs to be completely replaced with a futuristic version, not gas powered, and rail controlled like they have done other places.
Dress the cars in LED lighting, Add canopy sections matching TRON over the queue building and it would be perfect...

Considering that Pixar has taken over the back right half of the park..Perhaps placing it here would be the better option as this show is all said done with..

Agree on Speedway.. What an opportunity to make this look more futuristic with lights, electric vehicles and futuristic cars. The current look and feel no longer applies to an attraction called the Tomorrowland Speedway. I too think a Monster's mini land at DHS would work well. My proposal for Animation Courtyard would be an East Coast Pixar Pier:

-Incredicoaster with maybe some variations for east coast
-Mini Cars Land with Flo's Café and a Old Time Cars style CARS attraction. Cars would be ridable animatronic vehicles that interacted with guest as they traveled through indoor and outdoor scenes.
-Monster's mini land with Laugh Floor 2.0 and also cloning Ride & Go Seek from Japan. Also this are will have a large drink lounge with monster's themed cocktails and desert treats.
- Up themed drop attraction where smaller guest board the house at it get lifted up by balloons than coming back down to ground.
- Pizza Planet Food Trick Quick Service
- And can we fit in a show in that areas as well? Brave anyone?

This proposal would see the removal of Little Mermaid, Disney Jr., Disney Animation Building, and many backstage areas.

I think a big problem with TL is a) there's no Theme and b) there isn't really any thought put into the pedestrian layout, it's just kind of a big open space with a cafeteria in the middle.

Unfortunately I think to properly fix it you'd have to completely redo it. As for a reno, you could tear down the Circle-Vision/IYHW building and build a dark ride or something in its place. Put shorter waterfalls on the Hub side of the buildings, bring back the water aspect.

Maaaaaaaaybe move CoP to where they were considering putting the Theater. It could be kinda like the Mr. Lincoln of MK's Main Street.

I think focusing on a theme of "sustainability" or something could be cool, ties into Tomorrow, literally.

I've already said I wanna rebuild the speedway to be a smaller Autopia-style ride with renewable fuel cars.

With removing the city-esque storyline to it after the TTA got the new narration in 2007 was the start as it was the best way to understand how everything tied together in the land itself...With the convention center (Alien encounter), the Metropolis science center(Timekeeper), Space Ranger Spin (TL recruitment center), Space Mountain ( Part of TTA's storyline) Speedway (just a speedway), ASTRO orbiter(The symbol of TL), COP and Walt Epcot model being part of the TL retro historical society.

No need to tear down any buildings, there is plenty of room for a dark ride in the Monsters building plus the parking lot behind/galaxy Theater space. They could activate the Tomorrowland concourse with more imaginative shops, new attractions replacing both Stitch and MILF... add some additional set pieces scattered throughout the area so it isn't such a big open dead plaza... A new Speedway that is actually futuristic would round it out and feel complete. The original architecture is beautiful, it just needs it's eye-candy back...the waterfalls, some planters that have all been cemented over....that sort of thing.

And for the love of G*d, add some new and additional show scenes to the TTA... All the existing scenes need to be upgraded, and you are actually in the Space Mountain show building for 2 minutes, most of which is just inky blackness... That is actually longer than the ride duration of the Tron attraction... TTA deserves the love, it is an extremely popular attraction...

A cheap option for Autopia would have been to theme it to Cars. They won't build a Radiator Racers in WDW for obvious reasons, but, tarting up the current vehicles and theming the whole area to Ornament Valley and Radiator Springs would work.

Love the thought but not for Tomorrowland.

Honestly, I'd settle for just a fun Cars dark ride.
Just wait for GM to drop sponsorship and Test Track Becomes Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy and move the AA from the DHS show of the same name into the queue area..
