Rumor Wreck-It-Ralph Attraction Likely to Replace Stitch’s Great Escape

Pixar in Tomorrowland makes a bit of sense to me. When Toy Story (the OG) was released it was a statement that we were entering a new era of technology with animation. It's hard to imagine where Disney would be now without Pixar, and hard to imagine a future without. The characters would be even more distracting in any other land. Until Tomorrowland has a teleporting experience or Autopia cars can fly on their own, I think aliens and space rangers will have to do. Monsters, INC gives sci-fi vibes and doesn't feel like it takes place in our universe. I think this is a better alternative to Frontierland becoming Woody's Roundup or Pixar invading Fantasyland.

As boring as it might be, perhaps a show about HOW Pixar animates and the technological advancements they're achieving would be a worthwhile investment in TL. I do like your point though.

i think if they built a pixar pier in DHS that would be cool. Then take the pixar pier theming off the CA one and return it to Paradise Pier and the Incredicoaster back to california screamin. Ship the theming to FL so they can use is. Also put the inside out ride in FL as well cause it doesnt fit the early 20th century vibe I want from paradise pier.

DHS would do well to turn TSL into a Pixar Land. Expanded slightly it would fit SDD, TSM, and two or three more attractions. Have Pixar Place lead around to it, with an Al's Toy Barn facade on the gift shop. A Monster's Inc. Ride (door coaster?) and/or a modified Laugh Floor.
Some sort of balancing C-ticket based on Inside Out or Wall-E or something. (And I would've included Ratland in full, had they not put the shrunken version in EPCOT)

My concern would be more on a revision to the ride building. The rides in this building have always used the same ride system.
It should be gutted and something new, other than the aesthetic being changed.

The show format has never been a problem. The content has.

The 3 versions of WIR so far have maintained the mainshow layouts albeit minus the raked seating.

Monsters Inc is an urban fantasy movie. Monstropolis is basically just what happens when you put one of Guillermo del Toro's Troll Markets on steroids.

They have an entire park dedicated to movies and even a Toy Story land...they do not need any of the Pixar characters in Tomorrowland...None of them properly fit the theme... An argument can be made for Buzz Lightyear, but not monsters... Nor does Wreck It Ralph fit...Why not instead create a whole Gaming land in DHS where Sounds Dangerous and the Indy Stunt show are and do a real version of the Sugar Rush racers, a Wreck It Ralph attraction and revamp the Star Tours simulators into a Call Of Duty attraction... Redo the restaurant to be the off-grid area. There is room to do it and that would actually make sense in the context of the park... IE mishmash of Disney properties that don't fit the established theme areas of The Magic Kingdom

I generally agree that Pixar fits best in DHS, but I think Wall-E would fit in Tomorrowland. I'd love to see Wall-E somewhere in the parks. They could even have "build your own robot" merch. I'm sure Disney could put together its own educational booth on its various green programs.

Disney would already have access to this data to know and keep us pondering, but I would imagine Wall-E is not one of its most viewed movies, moreover probably one of its least watched movies (I am not saying it is bad, just the rewatchability, especially for the majority of kids is just not there). One of the many advantages of Disney+ for management, they can see what people watch.

Could be. It's a bit of a shame because I always thought it would be interesting to see a spin off show about how they recolonized earth once they found out there are no pizza plants. Plus the robots that Wall-E freed were fun.

I like the use of Wall-E...It takes place in the future...It was an adorable movie...
Incredibles would have been a good fit for Tomorrowland just because of it's style...
But Wreck It Ralph seems a much better fit in DHS...Which could still use a few more attractions.
(as does Tomorrowland)...but would rather have something on-theme.
Now if...but only if the Speedway became a Sugar Rush Racers attraction, completely themed out, then WIR might make more sense...

I doubt they're going to do a Sugar Rush attraction, seeing as Vanellope ditched it for another game in Ralph Breaks the Internet because she got bored of it.

I completely agree with all of this.

I dislike the Speedway's use of space and wish they'd replace it altogether personally, but I liked the idea of the WIR overlay on it because I thought it was almost a transition between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. I dunno. I am no park expert.
Nobody cares about Ralph Breaks the Internet outside the princess scene.
To each their own. It was perhaps not a box office smash, but our family enjoyed it.
