Wouldn't this be a great way to link the Parks?

I read about the "tunnel" and thought it was pretty cool. And I agree with the OP -- this would be a neat little thing to connect the parks. Although I would point out that with time differences, there would be a lot time where you're looking at a closed park.

Agreed. However, If you only had one "tunnel", they could alter the angles of the mirrors used to bounce the image, from various possible locations. Doing this we could look at different parks at different times of the day. (Makes sense in my head!! :veryconfu) :ROFLOL:

5 Disney parks in the world (well resorts) all with one basic land in common, (Tomorrowland / Discoveryland). If done correctly you could "aim" to the right park at the right time. And when the park is close or closing you can even justify as a shift in the lens....

Sorry i didn't realize the way it was post before. lol

Or something even better. Have an actual walk-through tunnel that puts you in the middle of another park. All it would take is three webcams and three screens for each park. With the cams pointed in the right direction, you could watch the fireworks in another park in the middle of the day.

I am thinking 2000. I was not aware that it was voted on several times.
It was on the ballet, and passed by a large margin. They didn't do anything with it for four years (except veto budget for it) and then put it back on the ballot and asked if people still wanted it. It was worded weirdly the second time if I recall. Anyway, it was voted down the second time so they never made one. Though with gas getting ever more expensive, that might have been a really stupid oversight in long-term mass transit plans. *shrugs*

2000 Constitutional Amendment on High Speed Rail Approved by Florida Voters

  • In November 2000, Florida voters pass a Constitutional Amendment directing the Florida Legislature to develop and operate a high speed ground transportation system capable in speeds in excess of 120 mph. The Amendment requires that construction begin on or before November 1, 2003.
2004 Constitutional Requirement Is Repealed, but Progress Continues

Take it to the next level. If you are watching south you could see HKDL, if you see north PDL, and so on... This could be so much fun. Hey even tie the store in NYC...

I think they should have one in every country in EPCOT and then have one in the corresponding countries around the world.... Yes the time would be still a factor but as you stand in the Italy Pavillion you can see a couple enjoying a laugh in Sicily. just a basic thought... Disney spends money on things that arent as practical but who am i too judge.
