Would you replace La Nouba at Downtown Disney???

If you've ever seen La Nouba at DTD, you know that the show is amazing! But it being the only place where that show is performed, do you think its time Disney replace La Nouba with another Cirque du Soleil show, maybe even take out La Nouba altogether and put something totally different in its place????
What do you think???

I would love to see one of the other shows CDS has. Maybe switch with one of the ones they have in Vegas!

Yep. I've wondered why the show never changes too. We splurged a few years ago and loved the show, but I can't see spending that kind of $$ to see the same show again. Are there enough die-hard Cirque fans to provide repeat business?

it's only been there for about 10 years which, though it might seem a lot, isn't that long a time in wdw terms considering the length of time some of the other shows have run for...

i don't think they need to worry about repeat custom, there's enough fresh faces walking through those disney gates every day desperate to spend their cash...i imagine that la nouba will be there, in some form or another, for years to come...

if they closed it they prob only build another restaurant there anyway :brick:

I disagree...if they closed it they would let it sit there for 8 months and debate what to do with it:D

I went to see it a few years ago, and whilst i did think it was very good, i wouldn't see it again.

Although if it is still knocking about in another 10 years i might.

I think the show is great, but I think any Cirque show is great.

We've seen it once, and probably wouldn't go back unless there
was a new show, though. That's not a knock on the show,
it's just that it's expensive, and I've seen it.

Every time there's a traveling Cirque show when they come to
town, we try to go.

If anyone reading this hasn't seen it, I really recommend it, it's
unique, amazing, and different. Top drawer entertainment!

I've been to the show three times ( once with my parents, once with my wife's parents and once with another couple ). Each time I go I get to focus on something different since there is so much going on at the same time. It's a great show and I'm sure I'll go again some day but it wouldn't hurt to rotate or change it a bit.

i'm a huge CDS fan, and I've seen La Nouba twice. I've seen most of the touring Cirque shows, but I'm yet to see the resident shows in Vegas.

La Nouba is by far the best, and most suited to Disney, some of the others are a little dark and cater for a different audience, while other shows are older than La Nouba and getting tired.

I'm always amazed by the trampolines at the end!

I saw the show last July and loved it. I actually have a friend that worked with the show, he was one of the therapists, and he got me seats in one of the lighting booths above the stands. It was really cool, plus the show was great.

I would probably go back again if given the opportunity, but would love to see another Cirque show as well, seeing as this is the only one I have seen to this point.

It has probably been 7 years since I have seen it, but it was amazing. I will hopefully see it again when I move down there. I know I will have even more respect for it because I know more of what goes into the production of shows now than I did before. I really cannot wait. It is such a quality production.
