Would you pay for a NMBC ticketed event at the MGM Studios? How much would you pay? What would persuade you to plan a visit to the Studios just for this ticketed event?

This is all hypothetical at the moment, but we might see this event soon, so I am curious to know what you all think about it...

By all means yes. Price would depend on the scope of the event. I would expect to pay about the same as MNSSHP or MVMCP but I can see the logic in making this event cost a little less simply due to the park it is at. I would be curious how the market this or if they will put an age limit on attendees.

I paid $80 bucks to go to a NBC event out at Disneyland in 2001. It was the grand opening of Haunted Mansion Holiday. A little pricey, but it was really neat.

If the price was right for what was available, I would go. $80 seems pretty expensive for a hard-ticket event at the studios. It might be worth it if the had a new show for the event where the Indiana Jones stunt show is and the other rides were open during the hours of the event.

I wonder if annual passholders get in for free...:drevil:

im curious as to waht they would have at the event. parades dont really do it for me, so it would have to be more. i LOVE TNBC so i would most likely want to go but if it was just a parade and getting to see characters, it may not entice me too much. i always thought the movie could be made into a musical stage show which could be cool. i think id rather just have a TNBC attraction. are there any rumors about an event such as this? are there any rumored details?

Lately, alot of buzz has gone on about a hard ticket event for the Studios and all signs have pointed towards TNBC. We don't have any details yet though, just hints.

I think the move is a masterpiece, but like some others, I am not a huge parade person. I hope that if this event happens, it is a halloween event where MGM Studios becomes "Nightmare Studios" and all of the rides get different storylines, just during the event. Imagine Rockin' Rollercoaster with a Halloween theme so that the blacklights light everything up and make it even spookier-especially with Steven Tyler and Jack Skellington doing a duet!

Like others have said, it would depend on the content. If it were similar to CP or HP at MK, I would say pricing should be about $25 due to the smaller park. If they were to provide significant add ons as far as entertainment, bands, food offerings, then I could see the price being the same as the other two ticketed events.

What I would really like is a permanent NBC dark ride (rather than the HM makeover)

I'm not the biggest fan of NMBC. When I tried to watch it I got pretty bored... but that's just me.

I wouldn't pay for a ticketed event. I have no interest in that.

What holiday would it even be for? Halloween? Christmas? :veryconfu

I guess it just depends on if you like abstract movies, because that is all that Burton does.

The event would be for Halloween but would most likely cover a 3 month period.

I liked Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I just never got into NMBC.

No, don't care for TNBC. Doesn't say "Disney" to me anyway. A villians night would be cool though.

I can see a villain's night at MGM much easier than I can see a NMBC event. I think the theme fits better.

Sure, NMBC is a movie and MGM is for movies, but that's a very broad stretch that I think is used at MGM too much.

With a villain's night, you could incorporate villains from ALL movies. Not just the disney ones, but the live action horror flicks as well in order to entice teens to come. You'd probably have to make an age limit in that case.

Another thing they could do is a special version of Fantasmic!. I'm not sure how feasable that is, but an all-villain cast of Fantasmic created specially for the villain's night would be pretty cool.
