I fail to see the point.

You forgot something:

Line up to get small amounts of free terrible sodas.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any other free food at WDW.

People get crazy when stuff is given away.

When I was there NYE, we went through and there was no line outside, but inside it was madness! We would FINALLY get up to a vendor and kids would come running up, squeeze infront of us and put their cups right where we were going to put ours! My dad was waiting to get some apple lift (I think that's what it's called) and as he put his cup up to the nozzle, a "foriegn" kid pushed him out of the way and broke the nozzle and it went all over my dad. He was totally soaked and sticky for the rest of the day (or until the rain started...). It's the whole "free" factor. It makes everyone lose their manners and sense of logic!

I would only make a little queue if it was in the summer time... (and I would probably go through the back door) :D

...and yes, it´s "Apple Lift" (Manzana Lift), proudly from Mexico! and it is soo good! :slurp: :animwink:

Reminds me of some of the stories from the "You people make me sick" thread. Will the crazyness ever stop? NO!

But Crowds tend to attract crowds.

Another thing that occurs to me is that Ice Station Cool is a really "hot" (sorry) attraction right now, perhaps due to its frequent appearance on internet discussion boards.

It is one that we skipped, or didn't see, or didn't know enough about to try, our first few trips.

If you've been around long enough, you see attractions' popularity change significantly.

For example, when we went in 1993, Body Wars was THE big ride--2 hour waits were the norm. 10 years later, it's a guaranteed walk-on.

I'm sure it will run its course, or Coke will start charging for the sodas, or (pleeze let it be true...) Pepsi will get the WDW contract.

do they spray mist on the people who are inside?

because at six flags great adventure they have this thing that you stand under and it sprays mist on you, you dont really get wet you just get nice and cold.

My dad said that when he went, there was a crowd outside the door, but it was just because they weren't letting people in for about ten or fifteen minutes--porbably just for cleaning though. I think the fact that there's a long line draws some people itself.
