Worst places to propose at WDW

I think the Haunted Mansion is an awesome place to propose (the TOT one was great also!)....I am actually surprised the stretching room has only been done twice because there are so many passionate HM fans out there. You really did something unique that you and your girlfriend had a connection with....people are always gonna have conflicting points of view...so in the end we all just gotta live our lives :)

Well I guess i'm a good one to ask, according to the answers on this thread, in front of the castle would be. Well, i proposed to my wife, in front of the castle :ROFLOL:It's cool though, i realize now that it is unoriginal, especially to Disney addicts like us.

However, in my defense, i was not a Disney addict back then. As a matter of fact, the trip i proposed to her on was my very 1st trip to the World! That's right, i was a grown man, 23 years old (then) and i was embarking on my first trip to the world. It was my wife's 3rd trip though. So for me at the time it was original, and i will always look back and have a story to tell my kids... On my first trip to the world i proposed to your mom, right here.

As a now Disney addict, i can see how it would be considered "not surprising".

To throw my 2 cents in regarding the topic... How about just after Stitch does his "thing" and you smell that rotten disgusting, never forget it, smell. "Honey, marry me!"

How about on Everest, right when you first stop before going backwards. Better be quick with your words.

The monorail on the way out of a park would be epically bad too. You're ridiculously tired, surrounded by sweaty people, and nothing says romance like the smell of puke.

So now that you're officially "crazy" where would you do it tonight? IF you had to do it again?

Great question John.

I suppose being from Jersey, we love to take our daughter to the Jersey shore and the boardwalk. If i was able to get a "master Plan" together at the Boardwalk and do something creative there, that would be a candidate.

You and Coll share a favorite ride/attraction, but my wife and I really don't so rides would be out. All Star isn't exactly romance central. I guess i'd have to think about something like a restaurant, or the Wishes desert party, etc.

Front of The Castle works too man. Don't be put off by the comments on it.

Hmm, you think so? I've always dreamed of proposing at the Royal Table, after witnessing a really beautiful proposal after dinner late one night when the restaurant was nearly empty. The couple had a window seat, and a man dressed as a royal assistant brought out a glass slipper with the ring inside, and the girl burst into tears. :o Plus I always thought there was something really appealing about proposing not in front of one of the magical and nostalgic icons in the world, but inside it.

That would be awful. :ROFLOL:

I proposed at CRT, my fiancee had never been to Disney so to her it did not seem cliche at all. I did the whole package etc. She had thought this may be the trip that we were getting engaged because we had picked out the ring together. My jeweler was awesome and threw her off the day beforewe left by calling to ask about sizing on the ring and said it would take 2-3 weeks to finish the work. She never even knew I had the ring.

Among the hordes attempting to blitzkrieg their way to TSMM, Soarin' or TT at park opening....
