Wow... just wow.. AK is looking really good... Now I know why this park has shot up my list.... Forgetting the rides, the theme alone makes me love the park....

Go insane in SSE's Descent 2 minuets before closing, with flash, and no guests around.:lookaroun:D

Would if I could (REALLY!:D) but I'm traveling with family and they'll only put up with my geekness for oh so long. Plus, as we have discovered, I'm not 100% on whats new and whats not. The only thing I can promise you is any changes that have happened between yesterday and then.:)

MK:
Maybe some great shots of Tomorrowland

This I can do.

I gotcha. :) Mom thought I was a nutjob when I told her to work the touch screen and I turned around in the TMV, last Aug.:lookaroun:lol:

- SSE: there were tiny, very dim spotlights shining up on the curtains on the right side of the descent. Haven't seen this mentioned before, though I would bring it up.

I'm pretty sure they've been there since the beginning of this fiasco. I still think that they may be evidence of more to come. Otherwise why would they even be there?

Went to MK today... been running around the rest of town till now...will upload pics tomorrow.

As far as news and notes from today:

- MK has become refurbishment central. Made me happy to see so much being worked on.
- Just before opening, I saw 3-4 Imagineers in hardhats walk out of HOP. Unfortunately, I couldn't immediately recognize any of them,
- Also saw many bigwigs being escorted around the park today. Once again, none were immediately noticeable.
- There's some kind of electrical work going on the upper floor of the TL Skyway building
- People getting out of line and then rejoining their group was non-stop and highly irritating.
- Splash and CBJ need quieter animatronics. They were really loud.
- HM is still looking and running great while IASW really needs some mechanical TLC

Very nice news, and very nice pics! :D Thanks. Glad to see MK is getting some love.
Sorry to burst everyone's bubbles. But there has been 0 change in the SSE descent since January.

:fork::lol:

I agree with you, these much ado at Magic Kingdom these days as far as maint. Long overdue (which is probably why we're seeing so much of it now).

Thanks for the pictures! You know, looking at SM entrance pics made me realize just how... boring, dare I say, ugly, the entrance to SM is. I'd express my hope that the whole main entrance area would get a facelift (i.e.: new signage, removal of that ugly concrete planter, different paint on the arcade so it would match a bit better, etc.) but for that to happen, there would have to be a wall up around the area. Since one can still walk right up to the enrance doors, I guess a main entrance overhaul isn't happening. :( :fork:

I was looking through the new The Art of Walt Disney World and saw a drawing for the Tomorrowland Arcade. In the picture they also seemed to depict a major facade overhaul for the satellite SM building. It really would help the experience, IMO. It's time for SM's satellite building (as well as with many other areas of tomorrowland) to lose it's 1970s look and be remade into the future that never was.

Back from an evening at DHS

- Studios needs to learn how to use the single rider line effectively. My family hopped in RNRC's single line since stand-by was 1 hr. We ended up waiting just a little over an hour in the single rider. I thought the whole point of single rider was that it would reduce your wait at least a little bit. Have I missed something?:hammer:
- Parking was only using the southern side of the parking lot. Both times I've been to the studios this trip, they've had really weird/poor parking strategies
- TSMM was Insane the line never went below 50 min
- Saw AIE again. Still enjoyable but the show's "fluff" had already gotten stale by the second show. However, all of the judges and hosts have been great.
- Rain was crazy again.

Oh, I hear you on the single rider line. I think thats the worst thing they could have ever done to RnRC's queue. I think its actually made the wait time longer for everybody. :brick:

Neat panoramic shot in those pics BTW. Thanks!
