Back to the walking after a week out for ink and kicked off with a lovely (except for the Damn bugs) 2 1/2 mile walk around our resrvoir last night at sunset.Hoping to get out for another walk tonight after work on either a coastal route or back arould "the pond" . Then off to the Chipshop for tea ( we do get some mighty strange looks when we don't order chips o_O).
Off the wagon tomorrow as it is DW's Birthday (21 of course) and out for a meal with friends :hungry::hungry::hungry:

Good morning Disney fans. Let's start the day with a big hand (@93boomer you can stomp your feet) for @epcotisbest 5 pounds down. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got up and tried Jillian Michael's Killer abs for the first time today, let's just say it was excellent. It is a killer workout and I expect nothing less from her, but there are modifications for those who need it and she always seems to know when you just need to take a breath and laugh. It's now on my I'm thinking about buying it list. Level one is on youtube for free (hear that (@real mad hatter ). I followed that up with her kickboxing workout also on youtube. I must be spending too much time with Hatter lately because I've been finding all sorts of free or greatly reduced stuff lately. LOL Today will be a smoothie for breakfast thinking (kale, berries, chis, spirulina) lunch will be a "Cesar Salad" dinner will be leftover lasagna and desert will be some of the apple spice cake I made yesterday (no added, fat or sugar, artificial sweeteners , meat, egggs or dairy) I hope you have a magical day and get your butts up and MOVE! xoxo
Well today starts Scotland's " Take it Easy " week..( we don't have crazy day holidays ) It's schools back so my DS is starting 5th year, and Mrs Hatters back at her primary school ( dinner lady ) So I'am having a panini with grilled ham & tomato..And a glass of fresh apple juice..And later a wee stroll doon by the loch and maybe catch a Willow o the Wisp..;)

So Friday's doctor visit was not so good...sugar up...A1C up...but weight down five pounds, still a long way to go. Gotta drop about 70 pounds and that seems close to impossible. Now I know it is not impossible, but my mood and attitude has to change to make it happen. Honestly, my physical problems seem small compared to the depression.
You can do it!! Just be patient and just keep with it! Like Figgy said the sugar will come down the more you lose. My father-in-law did. :cat:

Good morning all! I slept like a rock last night! Maybe it was because I know now that my arm will get back to normal;)
I start my PT at 11 this morning so think about me! I am going to be sore I know. Yesterday for the X-ray I had to stretch my arm up, which I haven't done for three weeks! It ached all day!:(
Breakfast was granola and yogurt. Lunch will be turkey sandwich. Dinner is chicken salad. Have to make easy dinners since the DH is working late on a huge project at work and comes in late.
Well everyone have a wonderful day!! I love you guys!! We don't know each other personally but we really encourage and stand up for each other! That is truly special!! :)

She does not look a day over 20! Unless of course you are smooching someone else in your avatar, and that does not seem like a good idea.

In my PT for my shoulder a few months ago, the perky little therapist put a pulley over a door with a rope with handles on both ends running through the pulley. She sat down with her back facing the door, grabbed the handle and started pulling, all the way up one side, then the other. She said, "OK, do that." I just laughed and said if I could do that I would not be there. The rope and pulley device was just one in many torture devices she had in her arsenal. Amazing what exercises you can do with just a stretchy piece of rubber band too. Work through the pain and you will eventually get more movement and defeat the pain, or at least most of it. Now I can't say the same about an old wore out back that nothing including multiple surgeries has helped, but I'm not here to whine about me but to encourage you!

Be careful down by the loch...I hear there are monsters lurking in those things!

:happy::happy::happy::happy::happy::happy:I'm in a really happy mood today. I got on the scale this am and I'm down 7 1/2 pounds since my return from Disney:happy::happy::happy::happy: It's a weight I haven't seen since the 80s. I was feeling almost happy with where I was at, being my age and all, I thought it was just a plateau , my weight not budging for quite a while. But after doing the eating cleanse and eliminating gluten, things are much better. While I'm celebrating, I just got into a size I haven't seen since the eighties either. That was a fun decade, but no way am I getting a mullet to celebrate, unless @real mad hatter cuts his ponytail! :D:eek::oops: LOL
