Dh got home from work this morning and his smart watch told him it's time to get moving. His answer yeah that's not happening now
Mine keeps telling my that too. I also ignore it.

I do hop on my mini elliptical several times a week to get the cardio because otherwise my migraines will start back up, and I quite frankly don't want them.

About a year ago, a guy down the street wanted a big tree cut down in his yard. (This was not as a result of any storm.) Anyway, I heard that the price was over $800.00 to cut it down, and remove it?! :jawdrop:

Tree stuff can get extremely expensive! Our local average is something like $12 per foot of tree removed. It also depends on if it's just a tree removal company or if you hire an arborist. A couple of years, I was painting in a bedroom and heard that awful crack and bang. The top half of one of our oaks just snapped. The tree guy came by and while we had him do a couple of different things, I believe the removal of the bottom half of the tree below was around $400.

We have a couple of huge ones in the back that may need to come down at some point. We're expecting close to $1k per tree.

I'm not sure what my neighbor usually charges, I'm glad he's buddies with my dh when we needed a couple of trees removed

Halfway into my third week of trying to get back on track with the routine workout. After yesterday morning's good workout and my lunchtime walk, I took the younger one out for a run and the older one out for a walk...which came to nearly another 4 miles. Walking was fine, but running was a mess. My legs were in pain, I forgot to take my inhaler and was more short of breath than usual, and my younger one got a stomach cramp from drinking too much water before we took off. I did take a few pics during the walk...toads, hideouts, rocks and fairy doors.

I woke up this morning to workout to keep the streak going, but it was brutal. We had storms go through around 3:30am. Right when I thought the worst was past us, lightning struck near the house and woke us all up. So, I was in and out until the alarm went off. I woke up a little late and the yard was really wet, so I skipped walking to avoid the mud. I also skipped lunch walking (since I haven't really had lunch), but it was so we could see the Blue Angels fly over our area.

Other than that, going to take a field trip over to the dealer tonight to get my tags for the new ride. Can't remember if I shares ALL of the new decals, but this is the finished product.

I had bought another one...a runDisney one with Mickey running to the castle in an EKG decal, but it was a mess. It wasn't backed like the others and was super flimsy. So, it hit the trash. We'll call it user error, but it's probably a sign that I should consider the decal stuff done.

So, today is lawn care day. Since I have been trying to stay out of my wife's way, I load up the mower and mow a few other people's lawns. Some try to pay me, but I refuse. Just tying to spread a little volunteering. The thing is sometimes I get other's lawns done and don't get around to ours. My wife says I should do ours first, but I usually save it for last, just in case I am tired, back hurting or just run out of daylight or it rains or something. Much easier to do ours at any time. This mower does make it much easier and less time consuming.

@epcotisbest how's your sugar? and thank you for posting furbaby pics

Honestly, right now it is off-the-chart high because I have not been eating right. Lately I have quit worrying about carbs and calories. After the storm and the virus scare my attitude is, hey if I'm going to get a virus and die, or blown away by a tornado, why bother?
Yes, I realize that is the worst possible excuse, and will get back on track soon enough, but right now I find myself having a real hard time caring about my health.
Cop out excuse? Yes.
I did get rained out on the lawn care, so no outdoor exercise today. Maybe some carrot cake instead!
