Hi everyone!! We finished done more on the deck. At least my DH did! I supervised this go around since my shoulder aches:)
Had a good day moving around and walked our 3.5 miles outside. The evenings are getting cooler which is nice for walking since I am not a morning person.
Settling down to watch Netflix. Have a great night! :)
Take it easy on the arm and just keep walking for a while! Get well soon. xoxo

I'm a summer person. Have I mentioned that before? LOL It's brisk and I did a Spark People workout just to get warm!:rolleyes::arghh: I need heat! LOL Ok enough moaning and groaning. I'll just have to bundle up and walk as soon as the sun is up. Lots of leftovers here so I'll have time to get in 2- 2 1/2 mile walks today. Sticking with a berry, kale smoothie for breakfast. salad with a lemon chia seed dressing for lunch (trying to come up with something different wish me luck) left over mixed steamed veggies with a cashew sauce for dinner and either peach or pineapple "ice cream" for desert (frozen fruit, almond mild and a bit of stevia) So here's me lifting my gingered green tea to a good week for all. xoxoxo

A good week to you as we'll...sounds like some delicious choices you are making. I have to get busy making good choices as well. Could have made better choices each time we went out this weekend. Now I am regretting my choices and feeling guilt...but if I try to put a positive spin to it, a few weeks or so ago I would not have even cared, and probably ate even worse.

I guess I'll hop into this Disney Fit Club thread. We are 9 days away from our Disney trip!!! And I happen to be in training for my first 1/2 Marathon. A local one, not Disney....yet. My race is September 14. I've been doing pretty good but am a little nervous about being in Disney for 10 days! I ran 8 miles yesterday, which was awesome since we set out to do 7. I'm planning to get in a 10 the Sunday before we leave and then we'll see about doing at least 2 shorter runs, 3-5 miles, while on vacation. My sister gets married in December so this is why we chose to get fit.

Welcome and congratulations on the upcoming half marathon. I am not a runner, but my wife does the Princess Half Marathon each February at WDW and loves it.

I was not a runner until last spring. I always resisted it and wondered why anyone enjoyed that kind of exercise even though everyone in my family were always signed up for road races. I finally after being bored with my hard core cross training/weight work outs and was pretty fast to get hooked! It doesn't get boring and is pretty much my only "me-time" away from my kiddos and alone with my thoughts.

Welcome aboard!!!!!!!! Congrats on such a great run and have a magical time!

Thank you!!

Good afternoon all! Had errands all morning that took forever!!!! :(
Breakfast was a quick bite-whole grain slice of bread with nutella and oj. Lunch was one of my favs thanks to the Figgy diet!!, kale smoothie. Dinner is black bean salad with brown rice.
Don't worry @epcotisbest we all eat out sometimes more than we should. Just lighten the calories the rest of the week and it balances out. ;)
Keep on a movin' guys!! Talk later. Have a great afternoon!! Gotta go for my walk!!:cat:

Good morning it's still a bit cold for me today so 5 indoor miles down and lots of cooking to warm the house up. Well that and it looks to be warming up starting tomorrow! YEA!!!!!!!!!! I'm enjoying my morning tea and looking forward to my morning smoothie. I'm making a quinoa and chick pea salad, so I'll have a bit of that over a bed of greens for lunch, I'm also making a split pea and sweet potato soup so that and an arugala salad for dinner. Sit down and don't be too shocked I'm planning on a slice of chocolate "cake" for desert tonight. I'm also cooking salmon cakes (love making those my hands are so soft after shaping them) and chicken legs for my boys. I like cooking a few things in the oven at the same time. ok I've been taking cheap lessons from @real mad hatter and it saves energy which is good for the enviornment and three all I'll have to do for the next few days is reheat food and that will save me time to catch up on my reading. As usual when the sun comes up I'm heading out. I hope you all have a marvelous day and @93boomer xoxo and get well soon. BTW @mrdisman how's the lunch time walking going? xoxoxo
