working out for Disney

Hello-

I did a strength yoga practice today. I am still sore. 😵

I also went to Longwood Gardens, since all the of tulips are in bloom. It was a little crazy with people and their camera and phones. It was a little chilly today, especially since yesterday was so warm. It was still nice to get out in the fresh air and see flowers and trees just about to pop. 🌷🌸🌲

OK-I googled "Fightmaster" and I thought I was going to see a retired MMA fighter who turned to yoga to keep active and flexible. Instead, it is the the last name of a female yoga instructor. Huh! :hilarious:

I got up and did something different for a change. The 5 Tibetans:joyfull: Fun except for the fact I wound up a bit dizzier than normal or is that ditzier:eek: Seeing I have peppers and vidalias I'm making the guys sausage peppers and onions, heavy on the veggies:angelic: I also just got the basmati brown rice done so after it cools I'll make some unfried rice. As for me I'm going raw:D

And so the week begins. Happy Monday all! I have errands to run this morning. It is the final countdown! 5 days until we leave for Disney. We are more than ready for the break! Lol
Walking outside this evening with hubby and maybe RS. Dinner will be pesto pasta and baked chicken tenders.

It's funny you should mention your dizziness. I started doing power yoga again and I am so sleepy for the rest of the day. I don't remember feeling like this before when I've gone on a yoga rotation. I am exhausted and I am having a hard time staying awake!

Hello-

Today was a yin yoga day. I really need this, I've gotten so tight. I also need to figure out a substitution for the half saddle pose, because I really don't like how that makes my knee and ankle feel. I worry about stretching ligaments in those areas and not muscle. I went for a walk, too. It started out damp, chilly and dreary and in the afternoon, the sun came out.

It was nice out today which is where I spent most of it! Nothing like a couple of walks in the sun and getting some hand sewing finished out on my deck:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::inlove: Anyhoo before it was warm enough to get out not to mention the sun was still asleep I did Shiva Rea's AM Energy:joyfull: Right now I'm enjoying her practices more than Adrienne's. Not to say either is better just different. Tonight's dinner spicy mixed greens and hummus

Oh, yeah, that will totally do it. I think my tiredness was related to my stomach issues from last week. Once I was clear for a few days, I bounced back. I think I know what my issue is, it's just something you mostly treat with diet changes, but I am going to see my doctor just to make sure it's not something else.

Hello on this lovely Spring day.

I did a detox yoga DVD today. Lots of twisting. I could have done without the comment "we are massaging your intestines in this pose." :depressed::hilarious:

Then I went for a lovely walk in the sunshine. It was so gorgeous today. More, please. :inlove:

I made Instant Pot General Tso's Chicken from a new IP cookbook I got at Costco. It was delicious, but I would scale back the soy sauce and the hoisin sauce. It was just a bit too salty and sugary. But it was so easy and perfect for a day when you want to keep oven off.

The other good one when doing detox yoga is don't be surprised if you have to go when we're finished. TMI! Sorry about that after reading about your lovely dinner.

I spent this morning with Shiva Rea and have decided her surf yoga practices are just a bit too far out. Back to the bottom of the dvd pile it goes and will come out when I've forgotten how weird it is:hilarious:. At least the weather and time spent outside more than made up for that. Tonight's dinner raw chopped veggies and beans piled high topped with evoo and lemon juice.
