Good morning! It is raining so I am going to go shopping. Otherwise, I will go crazy in the house. Lol This is what happens when you Spring clean early. At least I can get my walking done. Dinner is seared chicken with pineapple, ginger, and mint salsa plus a vegetable.

So I told my wife that with the coming warmer weather, I wanted to get some new walking shoes or cross trainers and start wearing them to get them broken in.
I am a creature of habit and don't handle change very well, so the idea of trying to find new shoes was not something I was looking forward to.
I did a little online research and it turns out the shoes I wear every day are highly rated for walking, with good support and cushioning. I told my wife this and she went to the closet and brought out a brand new pair of my shoes, in the box, New Balance 608v4. She said the last time she bought me shoes, she went ahead and bought two pair because she knew I would want the same ones next time, plus they were buy one pair, get one pair half price.
I am so blessed, and I don't have to go shoe shopping. Win, win.

You might just have the best wife ever. She is one smart and sweet cookie! My husband HATES all forms of shopping, and he wears out his shoes within weeks, so we buy several pairs at once so he doesn't have to go quite so often. My husband is quite picky, though, so I can't buy them for him. He has to pick them out himself. But you are one lucky guy to have such an amazing wife.

The Koala looks like he's giving someone a dirty look over his shoulder. :hilarious: Thanks for the fun photos.

Sorry all we've been busy. Food shopping and mall walking this morning. I cornered the broccoli market. While everybody else was prepping for snowmageddon I got my regular groceries and 2 cases of broccoli. A major sale and case discount means tomorrow I get to prep, blanche and vac seal what I won't use quickly. While I was at it I got several very large pineapples. Seeing I live high enough to get rain to ice to a bunch of snow I should at least have some help. Anyhoo time for a nice quiet practice and warm bath something tells me I'm going to need it:banghead:

Hi there,

I completed my work out today and I don't know what's wrong with me, but I was struggling a bit. Maybe I am coming down with something? It's over, thankfully. o_O

I live directly across the street from a large convent and they have a statue of the Virgin Mary out front. Sometimes, the nuns come down the long driveway to pray to her. I notice they do this after a tragedy. Today, I kept seeing them come down to pray and I was wondering to myself, are they praying because of the incoming Nor'easter? :hilarious: Since I am inland, I am not so worried about the weather itself, but that stream that I live next to worries me a bit.

The Weather Channel is such a drama load, too. They hype up every winter storm to herald the eschaton. :cautious:
