Good morning!! A foggy start to my day. The kitty decided she wanted out on the deck so she jumped up on the bed to wake me up.
Going to try to run some errands so hope my car cooperates.
Change of plans for my beach weekend. That storm is bringing lots of rain up the coast, so no beach.:(
We are vacationing at home. I told the DH that no chores are allowed all weekend but cleaning out the litter box! Loll
So eating out, shopping, and watching movies are the plan. :)
Hope you all have a wonderful day! You guys are so nice to talk too on here!

I love coffee. I always use half and half, and either some honey or raw sugar (when I can get the raw kind).

So does the coconut milk flavor the coffee with a coconut taste?

I also have some vanilla soy milk. Have you ever tried vanilla soy in your coffee? I haven't, but wondering if you have.
I'm not a big fan of soy milk it usually has too many fillers. I like coconut or almond milk better and if you get either unsweetened they don't add much flavor.

This is a discussion forum. With that comes two things! One is random crap and the other is specific crap. I'd say your fine. The topic police are either not interested in this particular thread or find it OK, so post away. I beleive that under the Chit Chat forum all the retentive rules are overlooked. ;):joyfull:
Thanks...with that in mind I think it might be good for me to keep a balanced ratio of random to specific crap.

Ok, I admit I don't really watch any exercise videos or download any workouts. Question...what is a Leslie Sansone mile and how is it any different than a Figgy mile?
Leslie Sansone does aerobic videos for people with no coordination what so ever(me) I like that they're done in the equivalent steps to a mile and they range from beginner about a 17 or 18 minute mile to 12 minute miles. Some a very easy and some have some jogging or jumping jacks and such.

So when you do the workout you are not actually outside going an actual mile but the workout gives you the amount of steps in a mile. Now, that makes sense. I was wondering if you were carrying a smartphone and watching a video and doing a routine while out walking.

I'm not a well woman, but you all know that. I did and hour of total body yoga and decided it wasn't quite enough so I followed it with Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30. Forgetting I was going swimming today with some friends, I'm going to feel it in my arms tomorrow:facepalm: I'm finishing the last of my curry:hungry:

Hello-

I did an arms and abs circuit today. I have been busy getting ready for my WDW trip/cruise. My flight goes out 7 AM Friday morning. :cautious:

I am making "inside out" egg rolls in my Instant Pot for dinner. This thing has really brought out my inner lazy person. :D

I'll try to get caught up after dinner.

What are fillers? I looked at a label and it seemed o.k. to me. (But then again, I'm not exactly a deep dive food detective like you are--heck, there could be snake oil in there, and I wouldn't even notice?! o_O :hilarious: )

So here's another question for you or anyone else reading. What the heck is going on with milk these days?! (I'm not including the soy, almond, etc.--I'm talking about regular cow's milk.) I've always drank regular milk (either skim or 1%). Now the push in the supermarkets are all these weird milks that cost twice as much as normal milk--and they make all these claims like they're better for you, organic, etc. Can anyone explain this mystery, or is it just another case of the emperor's new clothes?

Up early, could not sleep. Some coffee then I'm headed for an early walk before the sun comes up. The temp is 72, so not as cool this morning and it's headed to the 90s again.

Let's start with certified organic, that's a set of rules that regulates how things are grown no artificial pesticides or fertilizers for animal products it has to do with how they're raised and fed. No antibiotics, hormones and organic feed. It does not regulate how humanely they're raised. fillers are things such as guar gum or starches

Good morning my arms aren't sore. I'm a bit shocked but I'll take it. Just 5 fast LS miles and walking outside today. It's cooler but doable

Hello-

I am in with a full body circuit workout. I am a bit under the weather, so this was a bit of a struggle. But it's done. :) I have a 7 AM flight tomorrow, so I need to finish up my packing and other last minute things I never got around to doing (i.e., nails). Tonight is carry outs--whatever my husband decides to bring home. It just creates more time for me to get stuff done. :)
