It would never dawn on me to use a "steak" seasoning on vegetables. You see, you're advanced, and you know what tastes good with different things. Me, I look at a container, and whatever it says on the wrapper it's to be used for, I believe that. :p
And, sometimes I throw a bunch of stuff together and it just does not come out very good. I do like to cook out though and usually it comes out edible. I have made a few meals that were questionable at best though. Enjoying the prep and the cooking is part of it. Still don't enjoy the clean up though.

Nice. Where is the 30 day yoga challenge you're doing?
Yoga by Adrienne. YouTube It's pretty easy and most are between 15 and 35 minutes but it's a nice addition to weight and cardio:) I like getting a bit of yoga in each day and this seems to be a good way to do it. She's no Shiva Rea but pleasant enough

Our back deck was rebuilt a couple of years ago and it is starting to get a little grungy looking so I got some Olympic Deck Cleaner, sprayed it on with a garden sprayer, scrubbed it and then rinsed with the pressure washer. I am about half way finished. In this photo you can see the dirty deck and the part I have cleaned. Good results if I say so myself. Hope your deck turns out nice. Bet it will.

I'm not a big fan of clean up either, that what my boys are for:D With the amount of food they consume it's the least they can do!!!

Good morning another early day in my house. 5 fat burning miles done and day 15 so I'm 1/2 way through my 30 days:) It's really nice getting back into yoga after not doing it as often as I like:joyfull: I'm also being smart easing back in.:joyfull:

No, he hasn't. He even sent an email once it went beyond the date they said they would tell him yes or no. There has been no response. I think that's really unprofessional and inconsiderate. This isn't a 17 year old interviewing for a job at Burger King. I think it is a simple courtesy to respond one way or another.
Wow....that IS unprofessional. Especially if they told him they'd let him know. Can he call them and ask?

Shortly before I married my husband, I came back to the US to plan my wedding here. I was living with my mom and my grandmother, for the short time I was here. I was paranoid about gaining weight, because I wanted to fit into my wedding dress. I was doing lots of Tae Bo. LOL. The room I worked out in had patio doors that went out to the patio (duh). My grandmother was grilling steaks and was walking past with steaks on a plate to go out onto the patio. She walked past as I was doing a side kick. I kicked her arm, the plate went flying, but worst of all, I left a bruise in the shape of the bottom of my shoe on her arm. :O
Oh no!!! Yeah, I've lost my balance more than once having to check myself when one of the kids suddenly decided they needed to move and I almost kicked them. They know now to stay out of my way when I'm working out!

I think I overdid it. My hip is twinging a bit. It's not bad, but I think I need to take tomorrow off. I did the 3mile walk today with the Pilates warm up, but I think the soccer yesterday is what did me in.
Spaghetti tonight, using wol veggies instead of noodles.
Smart move taking a day or 2 off!!!!!! I hope you're doing that at least once a week even if you're feeling up to going the extra mile. Get well soon!

I did something I'd have never even have dared to even up until recently. I bought a bodycon skirt. My body is nowhere near perfect but better than most my age and i didn't look too ridiculous in it so why not. Besides it was on sale and a nice tropical print perfect for Florida.

Thanks! It is just a very small one so it won't take long to do when it stops raining!:D

Hello-
I don't know if any of you watch "The Biggest Loser," but here is a follow up about the contestants and how they struggled to keep the weight off post-TBL. I have never watched episodes, but I would see clips on TV and on the internets. I think the takeaway here is slow and steady wins the race. There is speculation that this type of extreme, quick weight loss causes metabolic damage.

The first hibiscus of the season opened today. It gets cold here in the winter so they are container plants that are brought into the basement over the winter. We just set them outside a few weeks ago and they are looking pretty puny. This particular plant is the only one with even a hint of a bloom. I like it.
