working out for Disney

Hello-

I went for two walks today. The first walk was earlier and it was just to get out into some fresh air and sunshine. I had plans to do my Body Combat, but the builders left much later than I thought and I had to get dinner started. I decided to leave for another walk, because it was getting too late to workout and then cook.

I have a "Thai-inspired" turkey meatloaf in the oven and I will be cooking some veggies in the microwave shortly. :)

That meatloaf sounds really good. I have been cooking veggies in the grill and really like them roasted, coated with some olive oil and spices.

Good morning another early day for me with LS 5 advanced miles and day 16 of 30 days of yoga done. I'm so happy I decided to add yoga back in on a regular basis! My legs seem just as worked out as if I had done weights with out bulking:joyfull: I think I'm going to stay away from leg work with weights and stick to yoga, floor work and maybe some barre for them. I'm hoping to get some breaks in the rain to be able to get outside today! I don't need to repeat yesterday and wind up feeling like a frozen drowned rat! At least Remy was cute when wet:hilarious: Anyhoo have a most excellent day!

THNX I was wondering what to do for dinner tonight. I have leftovers for the men but nothing I'd eat:confused: Thai inspired veggies with lentils is the plan now. If not Indian also sounds good. I have some cauliflower, green squash, peppers, celery and a lot of tomatoes LOL

I did something I'd have never even have dared to even up until recently. I bought a bodycon skirt. My body is nowhere near perfect but better than most my age and i didn't look too ridiculous in it so why not. Besides it was on sale and a nice tropical print perfect for Florida.

Go you!! I doubt I will ever get to that point, but I'm so happy for you! That must be a total confidence booster!!

Took a photo of the orchid in the kitchen this morning before I left because, hey, why not?

My supervisor bought me one of those when I finished one of my grad school internships. I don't know what I did wrong, but it was dead in a few weeks. I am always tempted to buy one at the supermarket, but then I remember I killed the last one I had. :(

The biggest problem with orchids is over-watering and leaving it in its pot it came in. Try a supermarket one, re-pot it in a ground up bark type potting mix and only water very lightly about once a week. Forget the ice cube thing. This one is a supermarket orchid and we have had it for several years. My wife loves these and we have a couple that are thriving. Now we have managed to let one die on us too.

I think I might have watered mine too much. Do you re-pot it in the same pot, or do you put it in a bigger one?

Good morning!! We have a cool couple of days coming up. Brr! They even mentioned that "s" word for the higher elevations!!
At least the sun is out right now. Comfort food for tonight with pork tenderloin, brown rice, and veggies.
Walking tonight and weights today. :)
Big time sympathy like! Even up here they're not calling for it to get anywhere near that bad! Cool and yucky for the rest of the week but at least none of that nasty 4 letter word. Stay warm my friend.

This spring is just weird all over. It was in the upper 60s here yesterday and I think it will struggle to get into the 50s today. I want consistency warm weather!
