So it hit 68 degrees yesterday. Supposed to be in the mid-seventies for the rest of the week. Time changes next weekend and I always like it with more daylight at the end of the day but don't really understand why we still do the time change. Seems like an old tradition no longer needed. Of course, some people say that same thing about me.
Got up early this morning, already had breakfast and will be outta here early this morning. Happy soon to be spring everyone.

I agree 100% with you about the stupid time change. I hate it. Never made any sense to me at all.

Actually it's all pretty good not too green tasting.

Gosh, I honestly don't know how you do it. Although I do admire your willpower; have to give you credit for that at least. (If it's o.k. with you, I'll skip your suggestion of a raw and liquid diet for myself. I think I'll stick with solid food like bacon and cupcakes. The few days I'll shave off my lifespan will be worth the trade-off to me! :p :hungry: )

Hi there,

I am in with a nice, long walk (it was 70 F) here today and a lower body workout.

I hate the adjustment of the spring time change, but I love having more daylight in the evening. When we lived in London, it was crazy. In the winter, my son would be waiting for his bus in dark at 7:15. Then, in the summer, the sun would go down shortly before 10, it seemed. My son's school didn't let out for summer until mid-July, so it was throwing him for a loop. LOL

I am so glad that the weather is good. It was about 76 here today. It is supposed to be even warmer tomorrow. Getting out the shorts! At least for the next two days, then it will go back down in the 60s. I don't care; last year at this time we had record lows; heck, last week we had snow (that melted almost immediately).

Because it's warmer, I'm also able and motivated to go outside and take a walk (I can't when it's cooler; I have asthma, and cold air+exercise=not good. Except, oddly, I can ice skate on an indoor rink). I don't have time on long school days to exercise otherwise (I have nine hours worth of class on Tuesdays). I got an hour long walk in today, then later a 15 minute walk. Not a flat walk, with a combination of stairs, hills, and grassy terrain at a brisk pace. I am sore. Tomorrow...er, we'll see. I have a test Thursday morning, so I may be stuck studying for that.:grumpy:

Haha. I am, too. You're the first person I "know" that's allergic to strawberries, too. *fist bump*
Just out of curiosity...what happens if you eat strawberries? I've heard of people being allergic to nuts, or shell fish, or being sensitive for certain foods. One of my friends just posted that her daughter has a slight intolerance for gluten, dairy, certain nuts, chocolate....to name a few. WHAT'S LEFT? But what happens if you eat strawberries? Do you break out in a rash, or get physically ill, or does it close your airways?

I got in a bike ride today. I have to take it a bit easy or my hip complains really loudly, but I've decided it's better to do a bit every day than a lot one day and then not be able to do anything for the next 3. Right?

You are not going to like this but there is no one size fits all answer. Seeing you have a medical issue please check with a professional.

I get a rash. It happens with raspberries, too. Yeah, I don't know if would be happy to have all of intolerances your friend's daughter has. What's left, indeed. :)

Have you gone to a physical therapist? I did something back in December--I don't even know what I did. But, I get pain in my hip crease/groin area and it hurts to turn out my left leg or to sit cross-legged, so I just avoid those activities. I am waiting for my husband to get a job so I can see my PT. I usually see her annually for something. LOL
