I will brag that she finished in the top 25%!
Wow! 10K, Princess half and the Glass Slipper Challenge medal to go along with the other two! Color me impressed. You must be very proud. 19.3 miles in two days. I get tired driving that far. Congrats to her.
I will brag that my wife, her sister and friends finished. They just go with two goals and they accomplished them both. Goal one, have fun, goal two, finish.

Hello-
I took yesterday off because I was so sore from Sunday's workout. But I am back in with an upper body workout today. I went to the doctor today for a check up and his scale said I was 8 lbs lighter than I am on the scale at home. I need that scale in my house. LOL

We are under a snow storm warning for tomorrow. *thumbs down*

Congrats on a good check up! Sympathy like for the WSW, maybe you'll get lucky and the snow will find it's way to @MinnieM123 she loves that stuff.

Good morning with my dh's crazy schedule I had to get up early today so I got in LS 5 advanced miles. It's supposed to rain today but I'm still hoping to get outside for a walk later.
We had heavy rain and high winds last night and early this morning, but fortunately it held off for my wife's drive home. She said it was mostly cloudy all the way through Georgia, but they only encountered spotty showers coming up the road. The timing was good as it came a gully washer after midnight. The wind is still blowing and there are a few showers but most of this is headed up your way. Sorry, can't do anything to keep it here.

That's ok i did get out and walk. I'm not going to complain about rain in February it's going up near 60 and I have a window open. A few trips ago we had to stop and see a relative in Tenn. on the way home and got caught in some awful thunderstorms near Atlanta during rush hour. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That coming from a person who's driven in NYC and DC rush hour traffic!

Atlanta traffic during rush hour, or just about any other hour, sucks regardless of weather. Add in thunderstorms and it can be a nightmare.
I too have driven in NYC and DC traffic. NYC only once. DC several times. Did not particularly enjoy either experience. Once parked, we had a grand time. Sometimes it is the destination and not the journey.

I'm still sticking with eating better. While this is not exactly California Grill, it is what I need to continue doing in an effort to get my weight and sugar numbers down. Not going hungry and in my opinion, eating pretty well. This is grilled leg quarters with sauteed broccoli and a side salad. Sprinkled the broccoli with garlic salt and paprika...very tasty.

@epcotisbest , I just saw Figgy's post above about pasta. If you're interested, my hubby, who has pretty much kicked his diabetes 2 (he's still very careful, but not on any medications at all for about 4 years now--just watches what he eats and he works out a lot), likes Dreamfields pasta.

I copied a link below about it. He's been using Dreamfields for some years now. Different stores carry various products in their line. Dreamfields has been expanding their line from the basic spaghetti, lasagna, angel hair, and others. (You'll see the different kinds on their web site.)

I have actually seen that at the grocery store, read the label, thought it was interesting, then decided not to try it. Silly me. Now I will give it a try. Just by eating better and cutting back on the carbs, my sugar numbers are improving.
I need to be a little more strict, but the changes I have been making are a big step.
I do really, really need to exercise more and be more active. Baby steps first I guess. Attitude adjustment and more determination will surely come with time.
Thanks for the link and most importantly thanks for the encouragement.

So they went outlet shopping while there and my sweet wife brought me this. Since it was a leftover 2015 the Disney outlet at the Premium Outlets at Vineland had this little (ok xxl) gem marked down from $59.99 to $12.99. Score! I like bargains.
We went twice in 2015 so it still counts!

That's so sweet! You married up big time! A wonderful jacket and at such a good price! We usually make at least one stop at the outlets each trip, we've found a few shirts that were still being sold in the parks last trip (park 20 something outlet about 5 each):inlove:

Good score on the shirts!
Yeah, and part of the fun of outlet shopping is you never know what might be there. Something different every time. Last Sept. They had some leftover Flower and Garden merchandise.
One problem for me is we often find some really cool stuff, but then my size is usually already gone.
Another problem is just down around the corner from the Disney outlet there is a Vera Bradley store and a Dooney and Bourke store too. The DB and Vera Outlets don't carry any of the Disney designs or the wallet would be in deep trouble.
At the Premium Outlets over on the far end of International Drive, there is also a Victoria's Secret outlet and a White House/Black Market, two of my wife's favorites, and I never complain while at VS.
There is also just down the road from there an outlet not in the mall, but a freestanding store called Coldwater Creek. She always stops there too.

I got the mail and found a letter from my baby's school. I'm wondering what the heck could be worth a letter:cautious::rolleyes::oops: It was really good news my ds scored in the top 5% in fitness. Crunches, chin ups, 100yd run and 1 mile run. See veggies are good for you! He's the one that's mostly vegan by choice:inlove:
