working out for Disney

DW loved the zumba so that will now be a weekly thing.. still doing our daily trek after work ( getting easier now its not so dark in the evening ). And we are both over the moon to both be on the right side of the 13stone mark after many years of being on the wrong side of it :D:D:D .. Will post a before and after pic once we have got back from the world to give every some inspiration hopefully .

I know my wife and I were just looking at pictures from one of our earlier WDW trips from a few years ago and we couldn't get over how much skinnier we both were back then. We've let ourselves get lazy and since my heart attack last month, we've both vowed to get back to where we were a couple of years ago. Pictures are a nice reminder to us of "what once was" and "what could be again" and we both vow to be back down to our "fighting weight" of a couple of years ago by the time we head back to the World in a coupe of years! :)

Just got up and did 10 inside miles hope it's warm and not rainy so I can get out side tomorrow! Just finished putting the baskets out and neeed to prepare for the rest of the day! So happy Easter to all of you! And many, many more!

I was a bad girl yesterday!:( Carbs and some extra fat! No refined sugar at least ut still not a good diet day! Today I got up and did JM NMTZ and 5 mi with boosters! Getting back on track with a smoothie and herbal tea nothing but salads and low fat stir fries for today! Good news the snow is down to a few tall banks so I'm walking outside today!

Good afternoon! Getting a lot done today. But, this is the first time I've been able to check in:rolleyes:
The day is nearly gone. I had some errands to do and all that fun stuff.
Don't worry about it @figmentfan423, I overdid the carbs yesterday too, and my tummy was not happy about it this morning at all!! Boy, when you change your diet to healthy, then eat the not so healthy food, man it's not good. But, my family doesn't eat healthy like my DH and I do. :(
I had a healthy homemade granola bar and juice. lunch was a whole wheat wrap with one slice turkey and peppers with hummus, kale chips, and crystal light drink. Dinner is going to be grilled shrimp with cannellini beans, tomatoes, and whole wheat pasta. Eating fruit for snack. Tummy starting to like my good food again!! LOL
Walking will be when my DH gets home since it is finally half-way warm today. Evening everyone!!

Feeling much better today! Back to a normal eating pattern! Breakfast is a smoothie with kale, spinich, chickpeas, and apple. Thinking about mixed raw veggies for lunch and baked for dinner with beans of course. snack I'm leaning towards a pear and almond butter. Did 2 hours of low impact aerobics and hoping to get outside today but a cold front went through and it's rather chilly! Darn that groundhog! Hope you have a wonderful day and keep moving!

I know @figmentfan423, don't you enjoy eating all that food? But, when you aren't used to it, it creeps back up to find you!! LOL I felt so much better eating my "normal" food again!!
Walking today with DH before dinner and doing either Zumba or yoga today. Have a million things going on this week.
Breakfast was granola and nonfat green yogurt. Lunch is leftover garlic shrimp and whole wheat pasta with tomatoes from last night's dinner. Dinner tonight is grilled veggies with whole wheat couscous.
Well, we are really starting to feel good from our four-week Dr. Oz diet. My DH has gone down a hole in the old belt. I don't have that big tummy bulge now!! And we don't feel like we are starving either, so something's working!
If we have more warm weather, will try to send it up north to all my Disney friends!!;)

Good morning feeling fabulous just did the biggest looser with JM and 5 indoor miles with boosters! I can't believe how much energy I have today, my body must feel warm weather coming or just wishful thinking! Breakfast is a blueberry scone with herbal tea. Haven't planned on the rest of the day yet that's the next thing on my to do list! Have a wonderful day and keep moving!
