So, tonight I tried one of those Libby veggie cups. Nuked it for 30 seconds, drained the water and ate it. Not the greatest taste, but it was small enough that I finished it. Starting off dinner with a hot veggie, followed by my "entree" (I had some pita chips & cheese, and hommus), I found that I was full and didn't want dessert. During this week, I'll try the green beans and the corn, and I'll let you know what I think of them. I might try the Del Monte fruit cup tomorrow, too. :)
That's great. I do love hummus. Maybe you need to find someway to change the taste. 1 tsp of a condiment you like, or you could try a Mrs. Dash product. They make lots of flavors of seasoning, all without salt.

@betty rose maybe you're ready for a walking workout. Try one of Leslie Sansone's beginner 1 mile walks. I think it's called the American heart Association start walking. Don't try and do all the moves the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just try and keep the pace for as long as you're comfortable. It's always good to mix things up. Don't worry about doing it right! I love her favorite expression is you can't do it wrong!

Major Italian food cravings today so I made myself pizza and spagetti. I cooked down a few tomatoes and spiced them up and I put some on yellow squash noodles and the rest went on smashed cauliflower

Where do you find this. I'm just walking around the house for now, with ice and snow on sidewalks. Not everyone does their sidewalks, as required...I guess they would rather pay the fine.

Cedar plank salmon, boneless, skinless chicken breast and baked potatoes on the grill. Tasty and fairly low calorie. No tartar sauce on the salmon, just some freshly squeezed lemon.

That's interesting--I never saw anything grilled on a piece of cedar wood before. I'm surprised the wood wouldn't catch fire (then again, I've only used charcoal, which can flare up). I've grilled fish before, and placed it in a fish metal cage thing, that held the fish in place when you flipped it over, but it's all open metal. I'm surprised your fish can cook on a flat piece of wood like that.

I get the cedar planks at my local hardware store and just soak them the night before to make sure they're soaked.

oops almost forgot and I don't know how! Jesica Smith's Best workout to burn fat 60 minute hiit, stregnth, pilates and yoga followed by JS's Yoga for weight loss 40 minute fat burning yoga tone. I had to mop the floor after those LOL

Cedar planked salmon is something I have been grilling for a long time. As Figgy said, soak the planks overnight. I grill indirect, so there is no charcoal directly under the cedar plank, but you can grill it direct too. With the grill dome closed, the heat reflects back down to cook the salmon. No added smoke on these as they don't need it, but you could toss on some fruit wood like apple, but not too much. The salmon is cooked to temp long before the cedar would ever catch fire. It makes for a delicious dish with easy clean up. We reuse the planks at least a couple of times. They are easy to clean.
