Weather still very nice here and makes the afternoon walks much more pleasant. Supposed to be in the high 60s today with a high of 72 forecast for Saturday. Looking forward to that. More walking and grilling scheduled for my weekend. Gotta get the camper winterized and closed up and covered for the winter too.
Woo Hoo I'm so happy the weather is helping you stay healthy. Just watch out for stray cookies LOL

Good morning today was a bit of Zumba, I'm just glad there wasn't a camera nearby with my 3 left feet. With the nice warm weather I already went out and walked 4 1/2 miles. It's supposed to be warm enough to walk for the next week:inlove: I can't wait for spring so I can get some serious walking in before next summer's trip

Yeah, I have a feeling we will be paying for this nice warm December fairly soon, but I do admit though I hate the cold, when it snows here, which is not often, I do like the snow for a day or two. We love to watch it fall and to play in it for a little bit.
My brother is bringing home some fresh Indian River navel oranges when he returns from the cruise. I love oranges, especially fresh from Florida. Somehow they taste better than the ones we can get here at the grocery store, so I will be enjoying some fresh oranges soon, a much healthier alternative than cookies!

Good evening,

I am in with a lower body strength training workout followed up with a quick lower body pilates workout to get the muscles you can't get with weights. I am almost done with my program! I will be done on Monday. I bought this early this year and I made a few attempts, but I never completed it. I bought another program that is more comprehensive and is 8 weeks instead of 4, I might start that one next week. :)

Happy weekend. Today is my rest day so it's decorating with my boys and relaxing today, including a nice long soak in a bath with epsom salts and lavender oil. Today is also day 2 of 3 of no grains. It's no biggie just a bit of really packing in more raw fruits and veggies.

I baked a cake today and it turned into a hot mess. My frosting would not thicken up. I will read reviews next time because everyone else had the same issue. No amount of powdered sugar would thicken it. It was ridiculous. I stopped counting at 5 cups. Ugh.
My wife made a cake with homemade chocolate icing that would not thicken up, so she just used the end of a wooden spoon, poked some holes randomly in the top of the cake, poured the runny icing in the holes and atop the cake, then melted some caramels and drizzled it over the entire cake and that hot mess turned out to be one of the best, most moist and gooey cakes ever. I could only sample it, but everyone else saw to it there were no leftovers.

Good morning LS walk to the hiits radio remixes. I'm also heading out shopping for groceries and craft supplies. So far so good day 3 grain free no issues. Today is going to be gloriously warm up into the 70s so I may even go raw (food) all day. I had to insert the food part in case @MR FERRET is somewhere around. Stay healthy xoxo

My brother stopped by last night on his way home from Port Canaveral. Score! Big ole fresh navel oranges and a few tangelos too! I have a good brother.

Citrus fruit from Florida is the best, IMO. My in-laws just sent us a box of oranges, and, grapefruits and there were also pears and apples. The oranges are so tasty!! Haven't tried the other fruit just yet, but I'll get to it soon (except for grapefruits--I never liked those). Years ago, I drove up a road in Clermont and saw all the citrus growing fields, and the old Citrus Tower, too. I love old roadside attractions like that. The area was very nice.

Yes, something about the fresh Florida citrus that is just so much better than what you get at the grocery store. We too have driven through the orange groves. I am not much on grapefruit either but have found I can tolerate them if I cut them in half, sprinkle it with salt and spoon it out. Some grapefruit are sweeter, less bitter than others, but I don't remember what kind the sweeter ones were.

Have fun shopping. Was in the 70s here yesterday and supposed to be today as well. When the cold gets here it's gonna feel really cold!

That sounds delicious. Luckily, this cake was just for a few people for my birthday. It was just my husband, my son, my mother, my grandmother and me--nobody who was going to say anything negative about it. But it did taste really good, even though it wasn't my best effort.

I made this cake for my husband's birthday:

My husband is from Liverpool and I put the colors of his football/soccer team in his cake:

But they all can't be winners, I guess. :)
