Tonight I am checking in with a workout called, *ahem* "Slide & Glide." It is a gliding disc workout. It was a lot of fun until it got to a point where there were way too many mountain climbers, burpees into push ups, and dragging one's body across the floor into staggered push ups. No, that was not fun. It was balls, actually. But, it's done, they're good for me and I can say I got my workout in.

Plus, my heart rate monitor worked today--doubleplus good! :)

Good morning, it's nice to have Jim back at work. Now hopefully the boys will be back in school Thursday, weather permitting. The reason I'm glad to be rid of Jim is he spent his time off "fixing" the computers in the house. I was going nuts being off line and being stuck inside (when I wasn't shopping) because of the cruddy weather. I actually survived the holiday almost, LOL. I ate healthy for the most part and even went raw yesterday. Lots of yoga and some pilates over the weekend, 5 miles with boosters and one inside mile so far today, it's 34 and raw so not sure if I'm going back out or just doing some more yoga later. I may just go raw again today as I have lots of nice fresh veggies in the house. ps Santa was very good to me, Stay warm and safe and keep moving foward.

Checking in with a workout called, "Bikini Boot Camp." :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Such a cringe-worthy title. It was basically a kick boxing workout with some lower body toning thrown into the mix. It's 8 degrees here. I am totally staying until it warms up a bit, maybe mid-March. LOL

Good frigid morning. Mid- March may be wishful thinking:mad::mad::mad:! 5 miles done inside LOL. If I don't laugh I'll cry!!!! Going off to do a H.I.I.T challenge later. It's a last person standing thing. Lots of nuts trying to burn off all the holiday calories in one day, at least it's for charity. I'm having a green smoothie with protein powder for breakfast, packing a large salad with beans for lunch and dinner is going to be black bean chili with salad. Wish me luck I'm making guacamole (mostly peas), hummus and salsa for snacking lots of fresh veggies, rice cakes and I'm putting out some organic corn chips (major downfall) They're the only food I really need to weigh out. So happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xoxoxo

Good morning!!! At least I am warmer than you girls!! It is 32 here!
I have been doing all my weights and walking during the holidays!! But I have been having a few extra caloric snacks which I need to stop now!
Having a veggie tray and a healthier spinach dip for tonight.
Everyone stay warm and let's get healthy again together!! Happy New Year!!! :)

Howdy, peeps.

Well, I am very sore from yesterday's workout, so I am just doing a Yin Yoga practice today. Plus, I realized when I went to track my eats at My Fitness Pal that I have worked out six days in a row, so this seems like a natural place for a day of rest.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year's eve. It's 11 degrees and snowing here, with 4''-8'' predicted--oh joy! I'm staying in.

Happy 2014!

Good morning!!!!!!!! I feel like the energizer bunny today! Xtend Barre lean and chiseled to start, 5 indoor miles and 2 outside. I figured I better get out before the storm!!! It's 17 and starting to snow. The boys are coming home early and Jim may leave work if it gets bad, so it's now or never LOL. Going to turn my morning smoothie into soup. salad for lunch (trying a pecan apple cider vinegar dressing) escarole with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and canelli beans for dinner I'll have brown rice and the guys want pasta. Hope your feeling better@king fergus!!!! Stay warm and safe and keep moving foward! xoxo

Had shredded wheat and cranberries for breakfast. Lunch is half turkey sandwich and veggies. Dinner is turkey butternut squash chili.
Walking and light stretching today. May start Zumba next week again. Haven't done it in awhile. As King Fergus says just dance!!
Hope you aren't getting that nasty flu King!! We got flu shots so we won't get it. But I have been having trouble with my sinuses. Think that is because of going in and out of the heat and cold!
Figgy stay warm and enjoy that snow!! Hoping for one good snow here!! We never get more than an inch any more:(

I have that one, too! Totally cheesy title (and intro video that plays over the menu), but a good workout, I always feel it the next day. Gotta ramp up the workouts, 41 days til my next Disney cruise, 43 days til Castaway Cay! ;) Since it's going to be February, I just might do the CC5K again to try to improve my time.

Your weather is expected to arrive here this evening. It's been a while since we've seen single digits!! I'm hoping to leave work at 3ish to get off the roads before it gets dark.

Just met a old buddy in the shopping mall this morning..He's had this flu bug for two weeks,however he recommended a tablet called Sudafed..They are very strong but after trying two capsules last night,I can feel a big difference..Hope you all feel better soon...
