Morning LUVS! I have missed you all!
Glad to hear you all doing well! Life is good here on the Island of Staten! :joyfull: Both jobs have been keeping me super busy, I am blessed to have such a wonderful hubby. Since he is retired and now works from home, the most time consuming chore in the house is his...laundry! :p I have been eating well and practicing often. I have incorporated kickboxing into my schedule twice a week and wow do I feed a difference!

This weekend I made some homemade masala burgers and a big vat of butternut squash soup. Tonight I am firing up a crock of pumpkin soup.

We have about 30 days until our FIRST ever Disney Cruise, life is good!

NAMASTE!
Why you lucky sod...Disney cruise...Kick boxing ..Masala burgers...I'll pass on the soup of Pumpkin...Mr Doubtfire doing the house chores...Got to make sure Mrs Hatter doesn't read this post..:cautious:

Eating whole-wheat pancakes for breakfast. Lunch is turkey sand with veggies. Dinner is leftover chicken-apple sausages and salad.
Today is weights and walking if this rain lets up.
Everyone keep moving it and stay safe! :D

Those burgers and soup sound good. The cooler weather is perfect for soup. We had cornbread with meal freshly ground from a local mill on an antique stone. It is so good. They make wicked good grits as well. Also had roasted pepper and Gouda soup and some crazy good apple and pecan bread, but it was mostly too sweet for me, but fresh homemade bread with apples I'm gonna at least sample.
Disney cruise will be here before you know it. We have thought about doing that as well. Maybe start out on the Dream on a three or four nighter out of Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay. Happy sailing. Please plan on letting us know how it goes.

Remodeling is hard work, but very rewarding in many ways. So many things we want to do, but so few we have actually done. It will be very rewarding knowing you are helping DD. We have some chicken apple sausage in the fridge we got from Sams the other day but have not tried it yet.

Good Monday morning, hoping today finds you well and happy. BUSY weekend up my way, but I did manage to get quite a bit of cooking so it will just be mostly reheating this week for dinner. That being said I still have to cook more beans and some chicken legs today. All those poor chickens without legs. Anyway for the next 8 weeks 4 days a week I'll be doing EA Sports Active set to the 9 week program. This morning's workout was fun but seeing it's going to warm a bit I'm going for a walk later and a short yoga practice this afternoon. I've done EA A before and really liked it Because it has a heart monitor as part of the program. Decaf coffee for now still deciding between a tofu scramble and leftover collards with garbanzoso_O Escarole and squash salad for lunch and veggie burger with L&T for dinner. Apple crumb for desert and some hot cocoa after my walk. It's the start of new week so let's make the most of it.
Good Monday morning to you!

Yep she's our only child and they don't have a lot of money. They can't get any from the bank cause they don't make enough. It's hard seeing then want to make a good life for themselves but can't. So, she is just going to get her inheritance early! LOL
The sausages are really good!

I hope he didn't get hit too hard. I remember it was just a year ago we lived through Sandy. We didn't get hit too bad up here but were without power for a week. YUK

Here's a picture of my homemade chicken tikka garam masala with fresh coriander..It's a sauce of five blended spices including a ghost chilli.( just for that extra kick ) ...Central heating in your belly...:hungry:..View attachment 37000
That looks really good, but you lost me at ghost chili. I can't even imagine something that hot. Tried habanero once and could not even do it. Bought a bottle of Dave's Insanity a while back and only used a couple of drops. It was like fire in a bottle. Guess I am a wimp. Oh, our time changes this coming weekend. I always dread the time change. Dark before you even get home...dreary.
