Work going on at Imagination? Can anyone verify?

What exactly is happening? This is news to me. I know this spot has been used for character training for as long as I can remember.

Ah, okay. I thought there was a group of people protesting the appearance of characters within these training areas. I see how this could be an issue for the entertainment team though.

Just an fyi, the middle section of the Imagination finale scene has been messed up since at least April 9th. It was like that during our whole trip. Also, the Man in the Moon wasn't working either.

Wait! and no character escort either??! What's going on here? Next thing you know they will be repainting Innoventions. Oh, wait... Too late. or taking Ellen out of Ellen's Energy Adventure. Ugh! Fooled again. :banghead:
Well, you know what they say. You can take Ellen out of her Adventure but that still doesn't make it a refurbished ride.
I gotta ask. So if Ellen is in reality and falls asleep and has a dream. Then she is removed from that dream. Is she back in reality, or is she just really lost?

I have a feeling both will go down at around the same time. With all the attention Frozen will bring to the other side of the park I'm sure work will begin shortly after on one or the other in Future World. And then after Soarin' another will follow. Seems like a good opportunity.

No way they both go down at the same time. Closing two pavilions simultaneously would be a massive hit to Epcot's daily capacity and would make the already short list of things to do in Future World even shorter.

ETA: The second part of your post is more likely with staggered closings around the new Soarin' theater.

I saw some training on a slow January day in WS. IIRC, Gideon, one of the Cinderella mice, and a few other unusual characters near American Adventure. Not as bad as if it was FutureWorld, but still out of place. This would have been January 2011.
